• Since inception, the company has been doing numerous CSR activities, which have helped us bring transformation in various ways in society as well as the surroundings.

• Contribution has been made on a massive scale by thakkers untiringly towards the development of Nashik as one of the fastest growing cities of India.

• The company has left no stones unturned in giving anew face to Nashik.

• In our Golden Jubilee Year, that is, 2012, we have set an example of our social commitment by launching ‘Mission Plantation’, an initiative to plant 1 lakh trees in & around Nashik.

• Sponsored various events to encourage brilliant minds and fresh talents like– Nashik Marathon for MDMVP Institute– NIWEC Swimming Competition– Women Entrepreneurs’ Program conducted by Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce – Events conducted by Engineering & Architecture institutes across Nashik.

• Free food program called as ‘Annakshetra’ in which nearly 500 needy people are served free meals near Ramkunda, thus contributing our bit to humanity.

MISSION PLANTATION

• An initiative launched in our Golden Jubilee Year (2012) for planting 1 lakh trees in & around Nashik started.

• The purpose is to promote a greener environment for one and all.

• A unique concept was brought in reality where by we gifted one saplind to each of our employee and customer for further care and nurturing of the same.

Nashik City has an age old tradition of charity food being provided to poor and needy people of society. Thakkers Group has been playing a leading role in organizing a philanthropic free meal service called as Annakshetra in Panchvati since last many years.

An impressive view of the entrance of Dadasaheb Gaikwad Sabhagruha, Bhabha Nagar.Song, drama, dance and several entertainment programmes are enjoyed here by people of Nashik. Land for this cultural civic amenity was contributed by Thakkers Group.

• Shri. Jitendra Thakker, Chairman Thakkers Group has been actively and dedicatedly involved in the working of Nashik Citizens’ Forum since its inception over a decade ago.

• This institutions is an initiative of the private sector.

• It has been dynamically working for wholesome development of Nashik and also to create awareness of responsibility and duty of people as citizens.

• Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri. Narendra Modi, in his earlier capacity as Chief Minister of Gujarat, being welcomed and garlanded by Shri. Narendra Thakkers during the former’s visit to Panchavati Education Society, Nashik.

Land at the vantage point of Gangapur Naka was contributed by Thakkres Group to raise Pramod Mahajan Garden, now a very favorites fun spot of tiny tots and their Parents.

A refreshing view of the Health and Fitness amenity which is popular as “SAMARATH JOGGING TRACK” near Aakaswani Tower, Gangapur Road. Land for this facility has been contributed by Thakkers Group.

Land for Truck-terminal at Aadgaon on Mumbai Agra National highway has been contributed by Thakkars Group

A spacious Vegetable Market has been constructed by NMC on the northern bank of Godavari in Panchavati area of Nashik with a view to providing clean and convenient place for vegetable market. Land for this facility has been contributed by Thakkers Group.

Swimming pool named as Rajmata Jijau Taran Talav is very popular among health conscious men women and children of Nashik Road. Land for this facility was contributed to NMC by Thakkers Group.
