IntroductionWithin the world of business, the main
“responsibility” for corporations has historically been to make money and increase shareholder value.
Meaning of CSRCSR is the continuing commitment by business to
behave ethically and contribute to economic development while improving the quality of life of the workforce and their families as well as of the local community and society at large.
Why CSR is Important?• It helps to improve company's image and
reputation.• It helps to gain competitive advantage.• It helps to keep employs motivated loyal
and satisfied.• It helps to keep the customers loyal.• It helps in financial beneficial to the
company.• It helps in the increment of the more
shareholders.

Business benefits of CSR• A good reputation makes it easier
to recruit employees.• Employees may stay longer, reducing the
