Motoring and Transport Law
Our Motoring and Transport Team is able to advise, defend
and represent operators of goods and passenger vehicles
in a wide range of transport matters. We are members of
the Freight Transport Association and our team includes a
holder of the International Transport Manager Certificate
of Professional Competence.
We represent drivers and operators who are prosecuted by
the police or Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA)
for varying offences including those involving operator’s
licences, drivers’ hours, construction and use regulations,

Our Notarial Team notarise and legalise a wide range of documents for both local and international companies, as well as for individuals, for use worldwide.
We pay close attention to the efficacy of the execution process of all legal documents presented to us for notarisation, reducing the serious risks and consequences posed to our clients of their documents failing at some future point.
Whether a transaction is commercial or personal, the Team can advise on the formalities required by the receiving jurisdiction. Within our International Team, our language skills enable
us to liaise with local officials and other parties abroad.
Any official document to be used in a foreign country
has to be translated by a Sworn Official Translator.
Nockolds offers the services of Dalila Segador, a Sworn
Official Translator appointed by the Spanish Ministry of
Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, who can provide official
translations in English and Spanish. An official translation
is the translation of any document which needs to
serve as a legally valid instrument. A Sworn Official
Translator takes on the role of a Public Authenticator
or Commissioner for Oaths when producing official
translations.
