Starlit Suites is a company dedicated to providing qualitative management services to the hospitality industry focusing on all aspects of Serviced Residences and Apartment hotel operations, sales & marketing and technical services for private investors, developers, Apartment hotel owners or fund managers who wish to out source the operations of their asset.

Between them, the team has several decades of experience in their respective fields both domestically and internationally. The team is led by Anil Minocha, a hospitality industry professional with over four decades of experience.

Our team has experience with start up projects, brand conversions, turnaround operations as well as multi unit management. Innovative and progressive in our philosophy - our members concentrate on efficiency and technology based innovation. Similarly, future growth for Starlit will be based on attracting both local and international talent that are like minded in their focus on quality and efficiency

The leadership brings years of operational experience across the globe with both individually owned and brand companies.

Serviced Residences

At Starlit we have aggressive growth plans, with a vision of managing over 3000 apartments pan India.

The promoters have sufficient exposure in Serviced Residences / Rental Housing worldwide and have also entered into this segment in India for more than 4 years now managing an inventory of 272 apartments as rental pool arrangements for the Owners.

We are developing strategic sites in major Indian cities in conjunction with Developers where we offer an investment opportunity to a select group of individuals to acquire these residential apartments with the apartment offered back into the rental pool for Starlit to manage on behalf of the investor.

Serviced Residences

So an investor acquires a unit with a compulsory letting agreement attached to the sale contract. Then Starlit operates the marketing and operations of that investment apartment where we will let the unit out to our clientele, with a revenue sharing rental management agreement between the apartment owner and Starlit.

In this model the nett revenue is shared between the Investor and the Operator on a set percentage basis. This nett revenue is arrived at after deducting any travel agency brokerage or commission, bank commissions, maintenance fee for the society etc.

Aside from real estate appreciation, in this arrangement each unit owner receives a pro rata share of the net revenues, regardless of whether his unit was actually rented.

The owner will handover the apartment complete with all interiors, fittings fully furnished and equipped. The operator will bring the necessary working capital to manage the complete operations.

The serviced residence market has evolved dramatically from its origin and nowadays across the world is considered as an alternative accommodation concept, especially for those who do not want to stay in hotels or commit themselves to private property rentals. This market in India is booming, largely at the expense of the traditional hotel industry, with one decisive factor contributing to their success and growing popularity: cost effectiveness. Serviced residences are generally much cheaper than hotel rooms and, when you consider how much more space a guest is getting, they offer excellent value for money. With increasing cross border business investments and trade, and a growing number of corporate executives travelling on assignments over the last decade, new global business patterns are driving the growth of the serviced residence business. There is also an increasing trend of business travellers choosing serviced residences as accommodation option over hotels. These business travellers, although on transient stays, prefer the bigger space, tighter security and exclusiveness, as well as greater value for money, all of which serviced residences endeavour to offer.

CHAIRMAN

Graduated from the hotel school Mumbai in 1969 has about 40 years of exposure

in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry. He has extensive exposure having managed hotels in key management positions.

He has traveled extensively in India, maintaining very good relationship with all

the leading Travel and Tourism Industry. Has attended various seminars and conferences and tourism conventions and is an imminent speaker on tourism and hospitality.

He is instrumental in bringing a turnaround in hotels from their low sales to high

sales and to develop it to profit yield enterprise. Provide complete Asset Management to units and developers.

He has also been instrumental in reviving businesses in Tourism and has traveled

extensively to UK, Europe, US and lived in Japan for nearly one year.

SAURABH MINOCHA

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Graduated from Hotel school Ooty in 2000 has simultaneously completed courses with American Hotel and Lodging specializing in Sales and Marketing and in Food and Beverage Service all with honors. Has also completed BBA from Newport University.

Since then he was associated with major Hotel Chains such as Carlson Hospitality Radisson, Le Meridien and The Grand Hyatt New Delhi as Associate Director of Sales, marketing to the niche corporate segment.

He has also been involved in the Management Operations of Serviced Residences since 2004 from the project stage and has led the entire workforce in cohesion to ensure that the venture is operated successfully with a healthy bottom line.

Overall has a good exposure and experience in Management, Marketing, and Business Development of Hospitality Projects.

MR. SUNIL MARWAH

Graduated from the hotel school Delhi in 1976 has over 30 years of exposure in the Tourism Industry. Has extensive experience both in Management and is setting up of Hotels. Has worked for nearly 15 years as General Manager / Senior General Manager for leading Hotels in India and overseas and is generally associated with hotel groups from construction stages, thus caries both the Food and Beverage as also the pre opening, setting up of and operating hotels, and for the last six years is looking after the overseas assignments, with base in East Africa, now based at Delhi.

MR. ONIL CHANDNA

Mr Onil Chandna, with post-qualification experience of 12 years brings strength to our organisation as our advisor and associate specialising in financial seervices. He completed his Bachelors from the Delhi University in Commerce in 1991 and thereafter qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1995. Recently, to upgrade his knowledge and broaden the scope of practice, he qualified as a Diploma holder in Information Systems Audit course conducted by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is a specialist in the field of Financial Management, Internal Audit & FEMA matters.

MS. SHRUTI ARORA

Has a varied industry exposure since graduating from SNDT Mumbai in 1997. Has worked in various managerial positions in the Garment, Retail and Real Estate Industries. Associated with Starlit since inception and handles the key responsibility of manpower management and operations. Heads the projects and operations of western India for Starlit .

MR. HENRY PETER

With a post-qualification experience of 12 years in Hospitality Sales brings strength to the organisation in Sales & Marketing and Business Development. Has in depth knowledge of various cities and markets having worked with International and Domestic Hotel Groups in Regional Offices and various cities in India and the Middle East. Analytically inclined, covers the market survey and market study for each Starlit location proficiently. Graduated from Delhi University in Commerce in 1998.
