Status of Current
Operations
Impact on Current Operations
Status
Serba Dinamik is a provider of engineering services to the various sectors
such as O&G, power, water and utilities
✓ Revenue contribution for the Group in 2019 by segments:
✓ Operations & Maintenance (“O&M”) – 86%
✓ Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning
(“EPCC”) – 11%
✓ Others – 3%
✓ A major portion of our business provides engineering services to O&G
clients, where our scope includes maintenance work on production
platforms, refineries and petrochemical plants. We are thus limited to the
impact of oil price fluctuations
✓ The requirement for O&G maintenance of equipment is necessary for our
client’s production to continue in accordance to Health, Security, Safety
and Environment (HSSE) requirements for the respective projects
✓ For the past few weeks following the COVID-19 outbreak coupled by the
plunge in oil prices, the group has continued to receive call-out work for
maintenance services. Our clients are mainly national oil companies and
major oil producers and are still running their operations as usual
Outlook
Low Oil Price
✓ When oil prices are low, oil producers will produce more to compensate
for the shortfall in revenue. Hence, a higher dependency on their assets to
ensure optimum productivity and thus requirement for maintenance
services
✓ Asset owners will look to negotiate pricing (for higher cost supplier i.e.
OEM) or switch to cheaper service providers with similar quality.
Serba’s current contracts have accounted for a lower O&G price
environment
COVID-19 Outbreak
✓ Limited call-out of work due to the restriction of manpower/resources.
Certain countries possible imposition of lockdowns puts a temporary
pause on any activities. However, O&G activities are part of essential
services hence we do not see significant impact to the industry as
compared with others such as airlines, manufacturing, etc.

Forecast
Oil demand (consumption) expectations
• The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) forecasts oil demand (consumption)
to bottom-out at around 85-90mmb/d with consumption down by 5.2mmb/d or 5.2%
year-on-year in FY20, averaging at 95mmb/d throughout the course of the year.
• Assuming no further aggressive policy moves by OPEC+, oil demand is likely to come
below supply (crude production) over the next couple of quarters, subsequently
coming into balance earliest by late 4Q20.
• FY21 is expected to be a recovery year (albeit from a lower base), with the EIA
expecting world liquid fuels consumption to rise by 6.4mmb/d or 6.7% year-on-
year, driven by China (+12.4% year-on-year), India (+10.7% year-on-year) and Non-
OECD countries (+7.3% year-on-year). The US is expected to see a rebound of 6.5%
year-on-year.
