FAQSHOW TO PARTICIPATE ?Form teams of 3 students and upload your project on the

website from March 20th, 2017 to April 10th, 2017.

You must be:

• Enrolled atany school of Higher Education (Hospitality

Management School, Business School, University, etc…)

• Aged between 18 and 30 at the moment of registration.

• In possession of a valid passport until September 20th, 2017.

•Available to travel to Paris (around Mid-June) if you are

selected for the Finale.

CAN I SUBMIT MORE THAN ONE PROJECT?No, you can only submit one project per team.

FAQSCAN I REGISTER UNDER SEVERAL TEAMS?No, you can only register under one team.

CAN I PARTICIPATE WITH FOUR MEMBERS IN MY TEAM? / CAN I PARTICIPATE ALONE ?No, you need to be three per team, not less, not more.

CAN I PARTICIPATE IF I AM AN INTERN/ APPRENTICEOF ACCOR HOTELS ?Yes, you can participate, if you are not apprentice, trainee

and/or intern in the teams of Marketing Innovation Lab from

AccorHotels’ corporate Headquarters or dealing closely with

JO&JOE strategy or working at the School Relations &

Partnerships Department.

CAN I PARTICIPATE IF I AM NOT A STUDENTANYMORE?

No, you have to form a group of three students from the same

school.

FAQSCAN I CHANGE MY PROJECT AFTER SUBMISSION ONTHE WEBSITE AND VALIDATION?You can change your project during the inscription period (March

20th to April 10th) , but once your project has been validated

(April 11th ), you will not be able to change it.

CAN I CANCEL MY PARTICIPATION?Yes, you can cancel your participation by sending us a message

in the contact mail at any time.

WHAT IS THE 2017 THEME?The theme is about JO&JOE and the development of a place to

meet for locals and travellers, which is one of the main 2017

AccorHotels‘ JO&JOE new brand strategic’s axes.

WHAT IS THE DEADLINE TO REGISTER?

The deadline to register is April 10th, 2017. Any project

submitted after this deadline will not be considered for the

competition. Submit early, as only the first 300 teams will get

in!

FAQSHOW CAN WE SUBMIT OUR PROJECT?Just go on the website www.accorhotelstakeoff.com, register

(create an account) and click on “Submit the project”. The

procedure is super easy ! If you have a problem submitting your

project, feel free to contact us.

I CANNOT SUBMIT MY PROJECT, WHAT SHOULD IDO?Please check if your submission is following the required

criteria :

Round 1: The picture must be in jpeg or png format and must

not exceed 20 Mo. The description must not exceed 500

characters and the title must not exceed 50 characters.

If you have followed all requirements but still cannot submit

your project, please contact us .

Round 2: The video must not exceed 1 minute and 30 seconds,

50 Mo (formats: flv, mp4, wmv, mpeg).

The title must not exceed 50 characters.

FAQSWHAT CAN I WIN?You can win superb holidays at AccorHotels !

The winning team will choose their common destination from

among more than 10 packages including economy return flights

or train and package at our AccorHotels’ hotels (4* or 5*) in

various destinations. Here you have some destinations chosen by

the previous Winners from 2012 to 2016: Amsterdam, Venice,

Marrakech, St Petersburg.

WHAT LANGUAGE WILL BE USED DURING THECOMPETITION?English is the official and only language of the student

challenge.

Your project will not be taken into account if submitted in

another language.

WHO WILL SUPPORT THE COSTS OF THE FINALE INPARIS?The main costs of the Finale in Paris (flight from your school

city to Paris, accommodation and meals) will be covered by

AccorHotels.

FAQSWHO CAN VOTE?Everyone can vote during The Voting Days (between April 11th

to April 23rd)! So don’t hesitate to create the buzz around you

and invite your friends, professors, grandparents to vote for your

project .

HOW CAN I VOTE?First register on our website www.accorhotelstakeoff.com with

a login and a password. Click then on the link sent on your

email address for confirmation.

Then, you’ll just have to log in on the website and you’ll be

able to vote for all the projects you’ve chosen !

WHY THIS VOTING SYSTEM ?To be the fairest possible and to prevent dishonest people from

cheating on the votes ! This system allows us to have a check on

the votes so that any team can have the same chances to go on

the next round !

CAN I VOTE MORE THAN ONCE?Yes, you can vote several times for different projects,

but only one vote per person, per project.
