Michael J. Krupin, CLU, has ranked among the top 1% of life insurance producers for the majority of his career, spanning over 40 years. His success through the years results from his commitment to always represent the client, never the carrier, and to remain independent, consistent, trustworthy, flexible and enthusiastic. As a result of this philosophy, Michael attracts clients including the nation’s leading A-list individuals in entertainment, sports, business and healthcare, and has handled cases worth over $100 million.

An entrepreneur at heart, Michael left insurance carrier Provident Mutual (now Nationwide Insurance), where he was a top producer, to form Krupin Associates in Richmond, Virginia in 1980. He quickly built a substantial practice that realized over $2 billion in life insurance policies in a short time period. Michael and his son, Bryan, moved to Beverly Hills in 1996 to form Gilbert-Krupin. In 2012, Michael, Bryan and Ashley Krupin formed Krupin Partners to continue to serve clients throughout the country from the firm’s Beverly Hills, Richmond and New York offices.

A highly-sought speaker with an interest in fostering the next generation of insurance and estate planning professionals, Michael regularly leads discussions for the nation’s top law firms, business managers and financial advisors on the nuances of utilizing life insurance for wealth management. Well- regarded in professional and community circles, Michael’s recognition and involvement includes:

In 2006, Michael and his wife, Marti, along with their children formed the Krupin Family Foundation to support programs for education, children’s cancer and healthcare. Among its other gifts, the Foundation has contributed $1 million for a new gymnasium at Michael’s Alma Mater, Hampden- Sydney College. Michael and Marti split their time between Beverly Hills, California, and Richmond, Virginia.

Bryan Krupin helps high net-worth clients obtain better financial outcomes through sophisticated life insurance planning techniques. Bryan literally was born into the life insurance business, having joined his father, Michael J. Krupin, early in his professional career. He and his father moved to Beverly Hills from Richmond, Virginia to form Gilbert-Krupin in 1996. Under Bryan’s guidance as Managing Partner, Krupin Partners was formed in 2012 to continue to provide pre-eminent insurance advisory services for leading entertainers, business professionals and sports celebrities. Krupin Partners serves clients throughout the country from the firm’s Beverly Hills, Richmond and New York offices.

By serving on several committees for insurance carriers and advising numerous organizations on product development and insurance regulation, Bryan is at the forefront of the creative use of life insurance for wealth transfer. His industry recognition and involvement includes:

Brian Batson works with successful families and private businesses all across the country to implement life and disability insurance plans. Whether insuring the ongoing cash flow needs of your family, hedging a liability, preparing for wealth transfer or protecting the partners and value of a business, Brian advocates that life and disability insurance is the only financial instrument guaranteed to be available at the precise time(s) when it is needed most. With this underlying premise, Brian has designed, underwritten and funded several hundred millions of life and disability insurance coverage for the benefit of his client’s families and businesses. Brian is accustomed to collaborating with client advisors to put in place programs that complement our mutual client’s business, wealth and estate plans. Recognizing that strategies today need to be managed throughout a client’s lifetime, as a third generation insurance professional, Brian clearly grasps the responsibility of establishing lasting long- term relationships with clients so that the plans he helps implement will be managed properly for generations to come.

Tapping into his experience and education, Brian is actively involved in several insurance professional organizations and advisory committees focused on client advocacy. Brian earned his B.A. in Economics from Stanford University, where he was also a four-year varsity letterman and captain of the football team. Brian went on to earn his MBA from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga, California and has completed extensive continuing education related to the financial services industry. Brian and his wife, Cambrey, reside in San Clemente, California with their three sons and are actively involved volunteering with youth and high school sports in their community.
