We have the experience, systems, procedures and manuals in place to provide streamlined comprehensive Association Management and Consultancy Services to residential, commercial and mixed use communities throughout the GCC Region and to date have maintained 100% Client retention. The management of a jointly owned property differs to that of a singular Owner property in the way in which the Owners Association must react to situations, make decisions, issue instructions and appoint service providers. The role of the Association Manager requires a high degree of responsibility and experience, it is the Association Manager that must guide the Owners Association on matters concerning the Jointly Owned Property Law, supervision of the day to day operations and manage the finances of the Owners Association.

Summary John is responsible for developing, managing and delivering business strategy, to maximise shareholder value and return-on-investment.

Prior to his appointment as Managing Director, John was responsible for the operations of the Asteco Property Management Department across the region.

Before joining Asteco in 2004, John worked in South East Asia for 10 years managing some of the region’s best known property portfolios gaining a wide range of experience from Property, Asset and Strata Management to Workspace and Facilities Management for fortune 500 clients.

John has continued his specialisation in this field and has been a pioneer in the establishment and continued development of professional management services. He is respected within the industry for developing this service.

Summary John brings a wealth of international property expertise to the company, having worked over the past thirty years in both the property services and real estate development sectors in the UK, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines and the GCC.

He has worked with the First Pacific Davies group (now Savills) since 1988, as Director of the valuation and research division in Hong Kong and, subsequently from 1992, as Director and General Manager of the company’s development group, active throughout south-east Asia.

His specific area of expertise is development management, dealing with the master planning and design process and commercial analysis of all real estate categories within medium to large scale projects. Specific projects in recent years include the planning, design and commercial negotiations of a major mixed use project in the Philippines, the construction of a serviced apartment and office building in Vietnam, two residential and office buildings in Hong Kong and two residential projects in Kuala Lumpur.

Prior to joining Asteco, Sean was the Vice President of Sales for the largest private real estate developer in the Middle East where he was involved in over 30 projects in several countries across the MENA region.

Sean also played a pivotal role in building and expanding Rawson Properties into one of South-Africa’s largest real estate companies, which resulted in the company being nominated as a ‘Superbrand”.

Through Sean’s leadership, the Agency division strategically monitors Customer, market and competitor activities, to conceptualise tailor-made sales and leasing strategies. Prior to his appointment as Director at Asteco, Omar was the Director of Sales (UAE), for one of the UAE’s largest private real estate Developers, working on over forty projects within the MENA region, including branded developments such as Versace, Fendi, Donald Trump and Paramount.

Omar previously worked for one of the UK’s largest group of estate agents, the LSL Group, where he was the Regional Director for Reeds Rains. Having overall responsibility for the North East of England, Omar devised the Auction proposition for the business and under his leadership, grew the overall sales and leasing business to become the market leader and agent of choice in the North of England. With vast experience of real estate markets and a deep understanding of the real estate business including real estate franchising and licensing, Omar’s aim is to deliver a leading proposition, developing sustainable growth opportunities and support to new Franchisees, operating under the Asteco brand.
