Recently, Thad Anderson, John Cruso, and Walt Miller from the St Mary Knights of Columbus, together with Knights from other councils, youth groups, and members of the Order of Alhambra, converged on the Cheshire Group Home in Gulfport, a home managed by St Francis Ministries, to help clean and clear damage caused by Hurricane Zeta. They raked leaves, picked up branches, and cut and removed downed trees in order to enhance the safety and appearance of the property. The Cheshire Group Home, residence for about 20 intellectually and developmentally challenged people, thanks everyone for their help and support, and wishes all y'all a very happy and merry Christmas! And yet, here we are again, with another rise of COVID-19 cases which has us using technology to share our Catholic teachings during this me of crisis. Lumen Genum tells us that the family is a “domesc church” and it is in the family that our children first learn who is God what His plan is for our life. Here are some suggesons to help you build your “domesc church” that will help all the members of your family. · Begin praying the Glory Be and an Our Father first thing in the morning · Pray for the Holy Souls when you pass a cemetery. · Have a crucifix in every room · Learn about the saint of the day · Watch video or listen to an audio drama story on FORMED.org · Say grace before meals, even if it's in the fast food lane Having your children log into their lessons on My Catholic Faith Delivered, shows that you place a high value on sharing and learning about the Catholic faith.
