Thesis• “The over-production of corn has led to many unforeseen
consequences affecting the health of our country. Decreases in the price of unhealthy, highly processed foods has created a country that is forced into making unhealthy food choices, resulting in major health issues, mostly obesity and obesity-related illnesses. The true cost of subsidized corn does not show on the price tag at the supermarket, there are other prices consumers must pay for cheap corn products.”
