Park only in designated spaces (enforced 24 hours a day.) UM parking permit required Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., except purple lots, which are enforced 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Blue lots are for residents and are enforced 24/7.Note: Future changes to lots and parking structures are anticipated; parking in these areas may be unavailable due to construction.
The shuttle is available without charge to all University students, faculty, and staff and serves major areas of the University as well as the University Metrorail station, Rosen-stiel campus, and area retail locations on the weekends. It facilitates the use of perimeter parking lots and provides a convenient means of traveling around campus without using a personal vehicle. The shuttles run every six to eight minutes during class days and every 15 to 20 minutes all other times.
The Hurry ’Canes Shuttle does not operate on University of Miami designated holidays.
Schedules are posted in the shuttle stops, Rosenstiel campus drop-off location, on the Hurry ’Canes shuttles, and at www.miami.edu/parking.

The Rosenstiel Shuttle operates between the Coral Gables campus (McLamore Plaza) and the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science on Virginia Key, with a stop at the Vizcaya Metrorail station.

Permit Parking (Students, Faculty, and Staff)All vehicles regularly parked on the Coral Gables campus must be registered with the UM Parking and Transpor-tation office and have a current, valid, and appropriate University of Miami parking permit tag displayed.
Colors identify parking lots on campus. Park vehicles in designated spaces within lots where the entrance signage includes the color designator printed on your parking permit.

Visitor Parking
Hourly Parking:
Hourly visitors may park at any coin meter or pay station lot on campus.
Short-Term Passes (one to seven days):
Visitors may obtain short-term passes at the Stanford Gate House and at day-pass machines located at Ponce de Leon Garage and Pavia Garage. Also, during normal business hours passes are available at the Parking and Transportation Department office.
Long-Term Visitor Permits:
Visitors who do not qualify for other parking permits but who frequent the campus may apply for a long-term visitor permit based on availability from the Parking and Trans-portation Department.
