Instructions – Garter Stitch Version

Cast on 3 stitches

Row 1: kfb, k, kfb Row 2: k2, yo, k3 (= 6 stitches) Row 3: Place a marker at the beginning of the row; after that kfb, yo, kfb, k2,

kfb, yo, kfb Row 4: k ( =12 stitches) Row 5: kfb, yo, kfb, k until the end of the round

Repeat Row 5 on the right - and wrong side until 80% (120g) of your yarn is left.

Abbreviations k: knit yo: yarn over kfb: 2 stitches knitted out of one stitch (the first stitch from the front part and the second from the back part of the stitch below)

Instructions

1st division

The working yarn is at the marked beginning of the row . Count the stitches and divide by 2. Place a marker in the middle. From here knit on the right and wrong side:

kfb, yo, kfb, k to 1 before middle-marker, kfb, slm, k to end of row

Repeat until 60% (90g) of yarn is left. 2nd division

Beginning of the row. Count the stitches and divide by 6 . Place markers after every 1/6. In total, 5 markers are placed. From now knit on the right and wrong side:

kfb, yo, kfb, [k to 1 before the next marker, kfb, slm] k to end of row

Repeat until 40% (60g) of yarn is left.

Abbreviations k: knit yo: yarn over slm: slip marker kfb: 2 stitches knitted out of one stitch (the first stitch from the front part and the second from the back part of the stitch below)

3rd division

Beginning of the row. Place a new marker between the markers and between the beginning/end of the row and the next marker. In total, 11 markers are placed.

From now knit on the right and wrong side:

kfb, yo, kfb,[k to 1 before the next marker, kfb, slm] k to end of row Optional: If 15% (23 g) of your yarn are left knit 2 rows with a contrasting

colour. Then knit 2 rows with your main yarn. Bind off using the elastic bind off method. Weave in ends. Wash. Dry flat or block.

Cast on 3 stitches

Repeat Rows 5 and 6 until 80% (160g) of your yarn is left.

Place a new marker in the middle between the markers and between the beginning/end of the row and the next marker. In total, 11 markers are placed.

From now knit:

Row 1: kfb, yo, kfb, [k to the next marker, KLL, slm, k, KLL] , k until 2 stitches before the end of the row, kfb, yo, kfb

Row2: purl

Optional: If 15% (30 g) of your yarn are left knit 2 -4 rows with a contrasting colour.

Then knit with your main yarn Row 1, Row 2 , Row 1. Wrong side: Bind of using the elastic bind off method. Weave in ends. Wash. Block.
