SAGA, founded in 2012 by Domenic Salpietra and Andrej Gajdos is an international partnership prac-ticing architecture and urban design world wide. Their collaboration started in 2004 during the study at Harvard University, Graduate School of Design. The practice, set up in two offices – Chicago, USA and Bratislava, Slovak Republic – is a collaborative network of designers, engineers, consultants, and advisors across the globe. It enables an efficient global approach, balanced with local understand-ings of project sites, cultures, and opportunities.

The practice provides full services in architecture, urban design, master planning, and interior design for both public and private sectors. SAGA utilizes a highly flexible methodology when exploring specific strategies for each project. This approach seeks to integrate sociological, economic, ecological, and technical knowledge within the design process.

The organizational structure is adaptive to best respond to any challenge while accommo-dating highly individual design solutions. Research and exploration of new territories

within our fields of operation are fundamental while delivering the desired result to the client. The management team consists of the Partners

and Directors, and is responsible for the daily operation as well as the long term vision and business development

while maintaining high quality control.

SAGA is driven by a progressive approach to design which takes into consideration the changing role of architect, new design techniques, technological advancements, and evolving production methods of the changing building industries. The practice is based on strategies leading towards a symbiosis

of architectural quality and client satisfaction.

The process of design is closely monitored from the initial concept through planning, construction and completion while building on a solid foundation of design excellence, project management and control over program and budget. The continuity of the design process and intensive dia-

logue with the clients, consultants, and contractors ensure a synthesis of the highest quality and the best value.

The practice is committed to the implementation of sustainable design with its envi-ronmental, economic, and social dimensions. SAGA strives to involve principles

of “green design” while maintaining the financial feasibility of the project.
