Messenger allows automation of the time-consuming process of contacting parents. All Messenger Types use the same basic steps

These steps are saved in templates and preferences, and can be automatically scheduled to occur at defined reoccurring frequencies.

Prompt Preferences

Language Preference Remember that selection for Preferred Language you made for people in Census? (The default is English, but if a person chooses Spanish, that person would prefer to be contacted in Spanish)

There are two important things to remember: Messages do not automatically translate, so to use of this, you need to create

both prompts and messages in Spanish as WAV files and upload them to Campus.

If you choose to limit the recipients of your message by language, the message will not go to those who prefer a different language

Additional languages (Hmong, Somali, etc) may be added in System Admin>Custom>Attribute Dictionary
