K-MENT
Unlike coal and other fuels, biomass contain alkali components that are derived from fertilizers.
There alkali components combine with ash to form slagging and fouling within boiler, when the boiler temperature exceed melting points.
Slagging and fouling significantly reduces the heat efficiency in the boiler, and induces not only periodic maintenance but also shutdown of the boiler
K-Ment increases the melting point of the ash in the boiler, so that the it can be discharged to the outside of the boiler, not melted and form slagging / fouling.
K-Ment utilizes porous property to maximize alkaline reactivity, and is compatible with many types of biomass fuels through custom formulation design
