A partnership without passion? Simply unthinkable for us.

The Porsche Partner Forum.

It’s amazing what can come from an idea.

For example, the 356 – the first sports car

to bear the Porsche name. Its inspiration

was Ferry Porsche and it was manufac

tured between 1948 and 1965. Today,

more than 60 years later, Porsche is a

brand that is probably known all over the

world thanks to dream cars such as the

911, Boxster, Cayman, Cayenne, Macan,

Panamera and 918 Spyder. In addition,

Porsche is involved in many other areas

and business activities.

An achievement like this is not possible

alone. From the very beginning, it has

been based on people working together

in partnership. People who are passionate

about what they do and who enthuse

others. People who have a passion that is

reflected in the products and the brand.

As in many other areas, Porsche was one

of the pioneers of sponsoring partnerships.

As early as 1954, the Porsche 550 Spyder

took to the starting grid at the Carrera

Panamericana with Telefunken and

Fletcher Aviation as partners. Your

company could also work together with

Porsche. The Porsche Partner Forum offers

you an overview of the many attractive

possibilities for enhancing the image and

emotional impact of your brand. What’s

more, through a range of topics and

experiences it offers you huge potential

for acquiring and retaining customers and

providing customer care. Both B2B and

B2C. It goes without saying that we tailor

everything to your needs.

Owing to the wide scope of our business

activities, our range of cooperation and

sponsorship opportunities is extensive.

This brochure provides you with an

overview.

Even better than pole position in motorsport? A win-win situation.

Porsche Motorsport.

Porsche has been synonymous with

motorsport from the very beginning. As

early as 1 August 1948, the Porsche 356

won its class at an Austrian race event,

the Innsbruck Stadtrennen.

Further triumphs for Porsche followed.

Over 30,000 at the last count. With more

notched up almost every weekend of the

year. Amateur racing forms the basis of

motorsport activities. After all, in every

Porsche there’s a hidden race car and we

also have the diversity of the onemake

championships. In this category are the

global Porsche Carrera Cups and the

Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup. The latter

takes place alongside the Formula One

World Championship, drawing an average

of 125,000 spectators every race

weekend. Another spectator magnet is

GT racing with series such as the World

Endurance Championship or United

SportsCar Championship – including the

legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans and

Daytona, and a number of longdistance

classics such as the 24hour race on the

Nordschleife section of the Nürburgring.

And, on top of that, there’s prototype

racing, which Porsche is set to return to in

2014 with a newlybuilt sports prototype –

at the World Endurance Championship (WEC)

and at Le Mans in the LMP1 category.

Our experience gained on the racetrack

is transferred to roadgoing cars and

enthusiastic motorsport participants are

well catered for.

In other words: developing, building and

selling competitive race vehicles is not all

we do. We also deliver organisation,

hospitality and marketing.

The advantage for you: the benefits of a

partnership with global influence. Applied

locally and, naturally, taking particular

market requirements into consideration.

Now you, too, can use motorsport as a

stage for highly emotive and effective

communication in all the major world

markets.

What can you win in motorsport? A race, a positive image and customers.

Racing success is based on teamwork,

motivation, strategy and trust. The same

goes for marketing success in motorsport.

Whether it’s team deployment planning or

your communications strategy: only when

you have optimal cooperation in place

are you able to win. And only when the

objectives and profiles of the partner

companies fit together can successful

partnerships be born.

True to the motto ‘Winning together’,

Porsche Motorsport offers more than

‘classic sponsorship’ with customised

partnership proposals, ingenious

strategies and detailed implementation.

There are various forms of partnership:

as a Cooperation Partner you work together

with Porsche on a longterm basis. The

partnership goes much further than

motorsport, for example, extending to

cooperation in development, production

or marketing. As a Porsche Series Partner,

on the other hand, you are a partner in a

specific Porsche race series. Official

suppliers can also make their products

available to Porsche Motorsport. These

products are used under very extreme

conditions – including in the areas of product

promotion and branding. This means that a

partnership with Porsche Motorsport is

always beneficial to brand image through

association. After all, motorsport stands for

qualities such as speed, precision, highend

technology, teamwork and design.

Page 4: Cooperation and Partnership - Porsche...Porsche Sports Cup. The Porsche Sports Cup is a customer race series that bridges the gap between the Club Sport scene and the Porsche onemake

6 | 7

You can notch up successes on the racetrack. Or off it.

What you can do within the partnership is

almost limitless. Off the racetrack, too.

Possibilities range from developing your

image campaign to marketing a joint

product. So, for example, you could

display a race car branded with your logo

at a trade fair or send it on a promotional

tour.

It is also possible to use photos, logos

and videos in your communications mix,

or to plan joint marketing activities and

PR initiatives. Should you have any other

requirements, we would be happy to

discuss them with you directly.

So why not present your brand to specta

tors at the race circuits, just as you would

to TV viewers? For branding purposes you

can use the vehicles, race overalls, team

wear and pit lane equipment, award

ceremonies and press conferences. The

wellknown companies and brands in the

field of Porsche Motorsport represent an

attractive network for you. To maximise

the benefits of these contacts, Porsche

Motorsport organises a number of

networking events each year.

A glimpse into the world of Porsche

Motosport will inspire your existing or

potential customers. Guided tours of the

drivers’ paddock, pit lane visits or race

car passenger rides are just some of the

highlights on offer.

To bring motorsport alive, Porsche is also

a provider of exclusive hospitality. Your

business partners or customers will be

treated to international cuisine in a

sophisticated setting, whilst following the

race action on a giant screen. Presenters

with expert inside knowledge entertain

your guests with interviews featuring race

drivers and other celebrities.

We build much more than sports and race cars. We also build bridges.

Porsche Sports Cup.

The Porsche Sports Cup is a customer

race series that bridges the gap between

the Club Sport scene and the Porsche

onemake championships for motor

racing professionals. It has taken place

in Germany since 2005, and we have

now introduced it in Scandinavia and

Switzerland.

The concept of the Porsche Sports Cup

is unique. Nowhere else can you find both

licensed and unlicensed motorsport and

highquality racing in the same event

programme.

In six licensed and unlicensed series,

both streetlegal Porsche cars and those

modified for motor racing cause real

excitement. The Porsche Sports Cup is

held at five renowned race venues –

including the Formula One circuits at

Hockenheimring and Nürburgring in

Germany, and SpaFrancorchamps in

Belgium. In six exciting series, ambitious

and passionate drivers put their racing

skills to the test, both on standard and

racing tyres.

With around 1,500 participants and 8,000

guests and Porsche enthusiasts, the

Porsche Sports Cup Germany is ideally

suited as a communications platform. All

kinds of cooperation and sponsorship

programmes are possible.

Would you like to treat your best customers,

employees or business partners to an

exhilarating experience on the track? The

Porsche Sports Cup Germany is also

ideally equipped to do this, with a variety

of incentive packages.

As you can see: we build much more than

sports and race cars. We also build bridges

– first and foremost, to your target group.

Our term for Porsche drivers: pilots.

Porsche Driving Experience.

Taking to the wheel of a Porsche is always

a delight. Offer your business partners,

customers or employees the chance to

experience this for themselves first hand.

The Porsche Driving Experience gives

you the opportunity to enjoy pure driving

pleasure on three tailormade programmes:

the Porsche Travel Club, Porsche Sport

Driving School and Porsche Driving

Experience Winter. All three will take your

group to a very special destination: the

driver’s seat of a Porsche. The only question

is which programme you will opt for.

While the Porsche Travel Club combines

driving a Porsche along extraordinary

routes with a high level of exclusivity, the

Porsche Sport Driving School and Porsche

Driving Experience Winter focus on finely

honing your driving skills, on the road and

on snow and ice.

This is a chance for you to present your

company as a professional and reliable

business partner with a customised

incentive package that enables you to

combine enjoyment behind the wheel with

developing business relationships and

recognising outstanding achievements.

You know the business landscape well enough. We can help to broaden your horizons.

Porsche Travel Club.

Exclusive tours along stunningly beautiful

routes. Your attractive travelling companion

right from the start: a Porsche.

The Porsche Travel Club combines

relaxation with exhilarating experiences

and impressive destinations on stunningly

beautiful routes – all at the wheel of an

attractive car: 911, Boxster, Cayman,

Cayenne, Macan or Panamera. You choose

the duration of travel. In addition to the

tours in our catalogue, we are also happy

to put together an individual itinerary just

for you and your potential customers or

business partners. All you have to do is

decide whether you wish to drive the

Boxster through the Alps, for example, or

the 911 through Tuscany. If you wish to

offer your group some unforgettable

moments in an extraordinary setting, then

our Adventure Tours are just the thing.

A tour through unspoilt landscapes to the

North Cape or across Namibia’s open

plains in a Cayenne are guaranteed to

raise the adrenaline levels of any

adventureseeking enthusiast.

On all of our routes, you’ll stay at some of

the world’s finest hotels and dine at some

of the best restaurants. Every tour we

offer has one common goal: to meet the

very highest of requirements – for your

complete satisfaction.

We will be happy to organise an individual

programme for you at any time.

There’s a difference between being able to drive and being able to drive well: us.

Porsche Sport Driving School.

There are many reasons to celebrate

at the Porsche Sport Driving School.

Successfully completing your driving

course is just one of these.

However, we also have a wealth of

experience in designing specific corporate

and private events. Imagine, for example,

tackling the most challenging sections of

the circuit in a Porsche 911 with your top

employees. As you can see, our events

follow strict requirements too: the racing

line. We are happy to put together tailor

made packages in consultation with you,

such as seminars, conferences, customer

events or private functions.

Of course, you can also combine your

event with a range of additional

programmes and activities. Along with

your onroad or offroad driving event,

for example, you can enjoy a factory tour

or a visit to the Porsche Museum. We can

also offer a range of other services, from

organising accommodation in a hotel of

your choice to the relevant transfers.

Naturally, we will provide the Porsche

vehicles required for your event.

How to make winter sports even more exciting? On four wheels.

Porsche Driving Experience Winter.

Winter – for many a time of calm and

contemplation. However, we see things

a little differently – very differently, in

fact. This winter at the Porsche Driving

Experience, we have a number of

challenges for you on snow and ice.

Take advantage of the period of calm at

the start of the new year to present your

company in conjunction with Porsche in

the far north of Finland at temperatures of

up to 30 degrees below zero. Your business

partners or potential customers can enjoy

superb driving experiences in icy, yet

controlled conditions. Our professional

instructors will help them to improve their

driving skills – even in the most hazardous

situations. They will learn about accurate

braking, evasive manoeuvres or controlled

drift on dedicated handling circuits. The

range of individual incentive packages

available is simply limitless. A special

experience with plenty of enjoyment at

the wheel and breathtaking scenery that

participants will remember for a long time

to come – along with your company name.

How do you recognise true love? By the fact that it still makes your heart race.

Porsche Classic.

356. For millions of people this is nothing

more than a number. However, for some

people it stands for a phenomenon: the

Porsche 356. The first Porsche.

Porsche Classic looks after Porsche vehicles

for which standard production was generally

discontinued at least 10 years ago.

To help you with customer loyalty and to

attract new customers, Porsche Classic

has the largest presence of all vehicle

manufacturers at the AvD Oldtimer Grand

Prix at the Nürburgring, one of the most

significant international motor racing events

for vintage vehicles. Porsche Classic is

represented on a 14,000 m2 compound

next to the racetrack, boasting a hospitality

suite for around 800 guests. This offers a

wide variety of information and entertain

ment to selected partners and visitors to

the extensive Porsche exhibition area.

More than 600 race cars spanning seven

decades of motorsport history are on view

for the 60,000 or so enthusiastic visitors.

For Porsche Partners, this represents

access to an extremely interesting target

group. As a Porsche Classic partner,

sponsor or supplier, this exclusive event is

an ideal opportunity for you to present your

company and your products to this target

group.

A Porsche showpiece without wheels.

Porsche Leipzig.

Porsche Leipzig is an automotive world of

discovery featuring our Customer Centre,

production site, circuit and offroad track.

In a nutshell: an incom parable experience

that provides an ideal platform for exciting

corporate events as well as for the ongoing

presentation of your products or brand

to factory collection customers, event

participants and visitors.

The overall concept of the Customer

Centre, which is clearly visible from afar,

is multifunctional. The events technology

is stateoftheart, while the cuisine is

exclusively refined. Together with our

unrivalled driving events and the factory

tour, this represents a unique combination

for transforming your business meetings

into unforgettable experiences – whether

it’s an event for 20 people or a conference

for 800 guests.

Porsche Leipzig is also a production

facility and the Cayenne has been built

here since December 2002. In August

2003, production of the Porsche Carrera

GT limited edition of only 1,270 cars

began here and, since 2009, the fourth

model range, the Panamera, has been

produced here. Now it’s also the home

of the fifth model range – the Macan.

For this purpose, the facility has been

expanded to include another production

line, as well as an ultramodern body

assembly line and paint shop. All in all,

a fascinating partnership between man

and machine. And best of all: you can

experience it all up close with your

business partners. We are happy to

arrange a factory tour on which you can

accompany the Cayenne, Panamera and

Macan on their journey through the

production process.

But Porsche Leipzig is more than just a

manufacturing facility. There’s much more

to see and do here. How about a visit to

our constantly changing exhibition of

historical cars, for instance? Or taking to

the wheel of one of the latest Porsche

models? On our FIAcertified onroad

circuit where you can explore the

performance of the Boxster, Cayman, 911,

Cayenne, Panamera or Macan, either as a

driver or passenger. On every metre. In

every legendary bend. The circuit is

modelled on 10 famous corners from race

circuits around the world. If you wish,

there are a further 6 kilometres of

challenges available with 18 special

modules on the offroad track, which can

be discovered in the Cayenne or Macan.

The possibilities for cooperation and

partnership are many and varied. In

Leipzig you can benefit from around

50,000 highquality contact opportunities

a year. Increase awareness of your

products, for example, as an inhouse

supplier of technical equipment for the

presentation rooms at the Customer

Centre. Alternatively, there’s the option of

track sponsoring. Place your branding in

busy sections around the circuit. As a

cooperation partner we will also offer you

special terms for events in which you are

involved as an organiser.

The location of Porsche Leipzig is also

ideal – and not only in terms of logistics. It

is situated between the A9 and A14, just

5 minutes from the airport. Leipzig city

centre can be reached in 20 minutes and

travelling by train is also a convenient

option.

In short: send your business customers on

a journey of discovery. After all, the

emotions inspired by a Porsche are difficult

to put into words. They need to be

experienced in person – here, at Porsche

Leipzig.

There are products. And then there are products that customers love throughout their lives.

Porsche Clubs.

The first Porsche Club was started back in

1952 by a small group of supporters in

Germany – just two years after the first

Porsche was delivered in the country. The

fan base quickly grew and then became

international. To assist these enthusiasts,

Porsche Club Coordination was founded in

Stuttgart in 1976 to provide an interface

between the Porsche Clubs and Porsche AG,

the subsidiary companies and the

importers. As an intermediary, it also

represents the interests of Porsche Clubs

within the company as well as those of

Porsche AG and its sales organisation

in the Clubs. There are now over 640

Porsche Clubs worldwide with a total

of around 181,000 active members in

more than 75 countries.

As well as enthusiasm for Club life and the

Porsche brand, Porsche Club members

also demonstrate something else: a high

level of customer loyalty and a major

source of further recommendations.

At many exclusive events around the

world, Porsche Club Coordination offers

our partners access to this target group.

Why not take advantage of this yourself?

Your opportunity to accompany the world’s sporting elite.

Porsche Tennis Grand Prix.

A veritable ‘Who’s Who’ of women’s tennis,

the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix takes place

every spring in Stuttgart. The players at

this tournament battle it out for prize money

of €795,000 – and the winner also

receives a Porsche sports car.

The Porsche Tennis Grand Prix is a

success story. First staged in 1978, it is

the longest established women’s indoor

tournament in Europe. Tradition meets

innnovation: since 2006, this worldclass

event has been held at the Porsche Arena

and has been played indoors on clay since

2009. This marked a new era for the

tournament, which is popular with women

players as one of 20 premier events on

the WTA tour.

The Porsche Tennis Grand Prix is not only

a sporting highlight. It also includes an

attractive programme of products and

services as well as numerous activities to

ensure a range of entertainment, even

away from centre court. The Sport and

Lifestyle Village is a popular meeting place

before, during and after matches. Here,

visitors can watch the players training and

get their autographs, or browse the shops

at their leisure.

More than 40,000 spectators come to

watch the highcalibre matches at the

Porsche Arena every year. Many of the

games are also broadcast live on TV

and highlights are shown in more than

100 countries around the world. Most

of the matches can also be viewed via

livestream on the internet. Promote your

brand to an international, sportfriendly

audience on one of the banners positioned

to take advantage of TV coverage. You can

also benefit from extensive online reports

and thematic links in newspapers and

magazines.

Just as we extend a warm welcome to the

stars in Stuttgart, so we do the same to

our ticket holders. Enjoy the Porsche

Tennis Grand Prix with an exclusive event

package: we will reserve the best seats

for you on centre court and provide you

with access to the VIP Lounge where you

can enjoy a variety of international cuisine

with Porsche hospitality.

As an incentive, the Porsche Tennis Grand

Prix is the ideal setting for you, your friends

and business partners. With worldclass

tennis as the backdrop, you can hold

promising discussions and make new

contacts in a stylish atmosphere. Here’s

to an unforgettable tennis experience.
