Converged Packet GatewayAll in One - Broadband Connectivity Solutions
Cost-Effective and Reliable Broadband Services
BENEFITS
• Low cost, add-on to your ISP and Radio Network for connectivity to Globecomm’s hosted 4G LTE Core
• Support for from 10 to 200,000 simultaneous attached subscribers (active and idle) and 1,000,000 configured subscribers
• Local control of user Internet access without having to backhaul Internet traffic
• Speed your time to market for data applications with little impact to backhaul
• Delivers “big-network”, multi-core resiliency for startup and rural network operations
• Different price plans by data limits & subscriber scenarios
Combining the Mobility Management Entity (MME), Serving Gateway (SGW) and the Packet Data Network Gateway (PGW) into one
unit, the Globecomm Converged Packet Gateway (CPG) enables operators the ability to offer cost-effective and reliable broadband
services for fixed and mobile subscribers. Globecomm’s CPG addresses the needs of operators for providing high performance
broadband LTE services, CDMA operators moving to LTE, and operators wanting to provide mobility between LTE/3GPP and “non-
3GPP” access networks, such as wireless LAN.
