3D Snake Transition In common snowboard construction, Torsional Ri-gidity (Torsional Resistance) is directly connected to the board fl ex. In general, the more longitudinal fl ex the board features, the poorer the torsional performance. More fl ex means better turning, easier control, better pop and more fun, but weak grip on ice or hard-pack conditions. Snake Transition technology is the three dimensional construc-tion that permits the separation of board fl ex (longitudi-nal fl ex) from Torsional Rigidity (cross fl ex) and manage both of them separately. The idea of the patent-pending technology is to introduce pre-stress to the board, by de-forming it through a form of additional waves. Storing the energy inside the board makes it more reactive, respon-sive and livelier. It also allows thinner and lighter board construction with greater durability. Snake Transition increases the Tosional Rigidity by 15% and additionally increases the board fl ex by 35% at the same time (com-pared to standard construction). ABS SANDWICH CONSTRUCTION There is no better snowboard construction than this one. Direct power transfer to the edges and vibration dampening, resulting in easy to han-dle and precise boards.

HONEYCOMB This aerospace product found its sweet spot in snowboard technology as well. It’s 90% lighter than wood, but has a great durability. Pla-ced in different areas depending on board model, it reduces weight, gives pop, improves torsional re-sponse and allows accurate fl ex adjustment.

TRIP Trip technology lifts up the edges at points where the sidecut meets the tip and tail of the bo-ard, providing easier turn initiation, safer landings and no problems to ride straight. Easier turning, catch-free ride and powder fl oating.

X-REACT X layout of Carbon and Kevlar is a perfect combination. While Carbon supports rebound for-ces and edge grip, Kevlar reduces vibrations to a minimum. Together this results in excellent pop, quick response and a smooth ride.

WOODCORE There is no better material for a snow-board core than wood. With its harmonious characteristics that combine strength, fl ex, light--weight and vibration dampening, it is still the uncrowned king of core materials. 100% polish poplar.

TRIAX Such a layout of fi bers transfers power directly to the edges and creates perfect fl ex. As a result we have a board that charges with quick response and harmonious fl exibility.

EXTRUDED BASE This base combines reliability with high durability.

SINTERED PREMIUM BASE A racehorse. Very fast but demanding. If you treat it well, it will reply for sure.

BIAX The Biax combines a smooth and balan-ced fl ex with torsional performance for an easy and comfortable ride.

DOUBLE FIBER POWER

POWER PLATES Additional biax fi ber laminates underne-ath the binding areas to improve power transfer to the edges and to provide additional dampe-ning properties.

BCF Stability of longer board + responsive-ness and quickness of the shorter one.It’s Contract’s idea of boards featuring big sidecut radius – 12 and 20 meters. BCF gives you stabi-lity of a longer board combined with responsive-ness and quickness of the shorter one. Some of our boards, thanks to the 3D construction feature more surface than similar models with the same size. Having Enlarged the sidecut radius (without oversizing the whole board) we have created the additional surface avoiding any loss in riding per-formance at all. BCF Gives You better stability at speed and works well in powder.
