Floor Mat Installation

Insert the retaining hooks (clips) intothe floor mat eyelets.

Turn the upper knob of each retaininghook (clip) to secure the floor mats inplace.

*: Always align the marks.

The shape of the retaining hooks (clips) may differ from that shown in the illustration.

Use only floor mats designed specifically for vehicles of the same model and model yearas your vehicle. Fix them securely in place onto the carpet.

Turn Signal Lever

Right turn

Lane change to the right (move thelever partway and release it)The right hand signals will flash 3 times.

Drive information

Select to display various drive data.

Select to enable selection of an audio source or track on the meter using themeter control switches.

Dynamic radar cruise control operational status (vehicles with a dynamic radar cruise control)

■ Activating the Automatic High Beam system

Press the Automatic High Beamswitch.The Automatic High Beam indicatorwill come on when the headlights areturned on automatically to indicate thatthe system is active.

The Automatic High Beam uses an in-vehicle camera sensor to assess the brightness ofstreetlights, the lights of oncoming and preceding vehicles, etc., and automatically turnsthe high beam on or off as necessary.

Press the “ON/OFF” button to activatethe cruise control.Cruise control indicator will come on.Press the button again to deactivatethe cruise control.

Accelerate or decelerate the vehicle tothe desired speed, and push the leverdown to set the speed.“SET” indicator will come on.The vehicle speed at the moment thelever is released becomes the setspeed.

Use the cruise control to maintain a set speed without depressing the accelerator pedal.

Dynamic radar cruise control supplements conventional cruise control with a vehicle-to-vehicle distance control. In vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode, the vehicle automat-ically accelerates or decelerates in order to maintain a set following distance from vehi-cles ahead.

■ Canceling and resuming the speed control

Pulling the lever toward you cancelsthe cruise control.The speed setting is also canceledwhen the brakes are applied.

Pushing the lever up resumes thecruise control and returns vehiclespeed to the set speed.Resuming is available when the vehiclespeed is more than approximately 25mph (40 km/h).

■ Selecting conventional constant speed control mode

Press the “ON/OFF” button to activatethe cruise control.Press the button again to deactivatethe cruise control.

Switch to constant speed controlmode.(Push the lever forward and hold forapproximately one second.)Constant speed control mode indica-tor will come on.When in constant speed control mode,to return to vehicle-to-vehicle distancecontrol mode, push the lever forwardagain and hold for approximately 1 sec-ond.

LDA (Lane Departure Alert) (if equipped)

■ Turning the LDA system on

Press the LDA switch to activate the system.The LDA indicator and lane lines willcome on.Press the switch again to turn the LDAsystem off.The LDA system will remain on or offeven if the engine switch is turned toIGNITION ON mode.

While driving on a road that has lane markers, this system recognizes the lane markersusing a camera as a sensor to alert the driver when the vehicle deviates from its lane.If the system judges that the vehicle has deviated from its lane, it alerts the driver using abuzzer and indications on the multi-information display.

Intuitive Parking Assist (if equipped)

■ Turning the system on and off

Turns the intuitive parking assist on/offWhen on, the indicator light comes on toinform the driver that the system is oper-ational.

The distance from your vehicle to nearby obstacles when parallel parking or maneuver-ing into a garage is measured by the sensors and communicated via the multi-informa-tion display, Lexus Display Audio screen (if equipped) and a buzzer. Always check thesurrounding area when using this system.

You can transfer the phone numbers in a Bluetooth® phone to the system. Operation methods differ between PBAP (Phone Book Access Profile) compatible and

PBAP incompatible Bluetooth® phones. If the cellular phone does not support either PBAPor OPP (Object Push Profile) service, you cannot transfer contacts.

Press the switch on the steering wheel.If the phonebook is empty, a message will be displayed.

For a PBAP compatible Bluetooth® phone and “Automatic Transfer” is off

To transfer new contacts from a cellularphone, select “Always” and then enable“Automatic Transfer”.Select “Once” if you want to transfernew contacts from a cellular phone.

● Automatic Collision Notification*In case of either airbag deployment or severe rear-end collision, the system is designedto automatically call the response center. If the electronic key does not operate properly

■ Unlocking and locking the doors

Use the mechanical key in order to performthe following operations:

Locks all the doors

Closes the windows and moon roof

(turn and hold)*Unlocks all the doorsTurning the key rearward unlocks thedriver’s door. Turning the key onceagain within 5 seconds unlocks theother doors.

Opens the windows and moon roof

■ Starting the engine

Ensure that the shift lever is in P anddepress the brake pedal.

Touch the Lexus emblem side of theelectronic key to the engine switch. When the electronic key is detected, abuzzer sounds and the engine switchwill turn to IGNITION ON mode.When the smart access system withpush-button start is deactivated in cus-tomization setting, the engine switchwill turn to ACCESSORY mode.

Firmly depress the brake pedal and

check that is shown on the

multi-information display.

Press the engine switch.

In the event that the engine still cannot be started, contact your Lexus dealer.

If the electronic key battery is depleted, a warning message will be shown on the multi-information display. Replace the battery with a new one. For instructions on replacing thebattery, refer to the “OWNER’S MANUAL”. If you need further assistance, contact yourLexus dealer.
