Cropped image allows the reader to focus just on the artist rather than the background and a change in the lighting on the models face targets her facial expressions. I also adjusted the hue and saturation in order to make the artist stand out. This is essential for the contents page because it will build an interaction with the artist and reader.

I used the burn and plaster tool to remove dimples or any features on her face. The burn tool allowed me to go over the models eyebrows in order to make it darker. I also applied this tool on her eyes and hair. The plaster tool allowed me to remove dimples, freckles on the models face. This made the image look more professional.

Using the same font as my double page spread and front cover I placed the body text across on my content page. The logo of IM magazine has been placed in the same position as the other pages. It is essential to place the logo on the contents page so that the reader is constantly reminded on the music name/logo. The date and issue of the magazine is placed on the contents page using the text tool.

I placed the grid on the page in order to align all the writing on the left hand side and directly inline underneath text other. Using the text tool I changed the colour, font and size so that the contents pages follows the same conventions as the double page spread, front cover and the magazine I based the contents page on: Q magazine
