CHAMPAGNE
JOSEPH PERRIER
Joseph Perrier has always been connected with history, on occasions which have been both high
profile and private. The House has always celebrated human achievements, from the
inauguration of Concorde in 1976 and more recently the presentation of the Nobel Prize for
medicine. Every day, whether notable or not, the philosophy of Joseph Perrier remains the same:
fully seize the moment, follow the truth and enjoy simple perfection, whilst encouraging others
with a similar outlook.
The Cuvées Royales celebrate the relationship with Queen Victoria and King Edward VII, a
distinction still proudly featured on the labels today.
This is a lovely fruity champagne with superb freshness which is balanced, elegant and has a
wonderfully vibrant finish.
Glass 125ml Half Bottle 37.5cl Bottle 75cl Cuvée Royale Brut £9.50 £26.00 £49.00 Cuvée Royale Brut Rosé £36.00 £65.00
THIÉNOT
Champagne Thiénot was established in 1985 by Alain Thiénot after 20 years working as a grape
broker, arming him with intimate knowledge of both vineyards and growers. Being a newcomer
could not have been easy in a region with so many historic and iconic producers, but Thiénot has
achieved a lot given its relative youth. Part of their success is thanks to Alain’s prudent acquisition
of many Premier and Grand Cru vineyards over the years, giving the House the depth and
diversity to craft their wines.
With its contemporary styling Champagne Thiénot is successfully crossing the globe challenging
historic Champagne Houses as sponsor of the Thiénot Yacht Cup Race and as the Official
Champagne for the Oscars® Pre-Show. A stunning Champagne with rich aromas of citrus and
creamy honey. Lively and balanced on the palate with length and depth on the finish.
Bottle 75cl Thiénot Brut £52.00

BOLLINGER
Founded in 1829, Champagne Bollinger is one of the few remaining family-owned champagne
houses. With its distinctive range of Pinot Noir-driven champagnes, the house has enjoyed a
close association with Britain since 1858 and prides itself on having held a Royal Warrant
continuously since first awarded by Queen Victoria in 1884.
The relationship between Bollinger and the British secret agent, James Bond, goes back to the
years when the latter was an exclusively literary hero. Champagne produced by the House
appeared in 1956 in Ian Fleming’s fourth Bond novel, Diamonds are Forever. In 1973, as 007
pursued his adventures on the silver screen, the relationship reached a crucial turning point:
Christian Bizot, Bollinger’s Chairman, met Albert R. Broccoli, producer of the James Bond saga.
Sharing a certain number of values: a passion for excellence, a sense of refinement, and
consummate elegance, it was the start of a strong friendship between the two families, which was
to seal the legendary association between James Bond and Champagne Bollinger which has
featured in Bond films since Live and Let Die.
Superbly balanced and tremendously elegant Champagne with a fine depth and flavour.

GOSSET
Gosset, founded in 1584, is the oldest wine house in Champagne. In 1584, Pierre Gosset,
alderman of Aÿ and wine-grower, made still, mostly red wines from the grapes he harvested from
his own vines. In those days, two wines vied for pride of place at the table to the Kings of France:
the wine of Aÿ and, from some hundreds of leagues further South, the wine of Beaune. Then, in
the 18th century the wine made in around Aÿ began to bubble and the Gosset family turned
naturally to the production of Champagne.
A true expression of the Gosset style. The highest quality is obtained from the best Champagne
growths which are selected by the Cellar Master during the grape harvest. The reserve wines
complete the blend by bringing a richness and maturity. Gosset Grande Réserve is powerful and
aromatic with a long finish, complemented by a ring of tiny bubbles. It should be enjoyed as an
aperitif or to accompany delicate dishes. Outstandingly well balanced Champagne.
A golden hue with a subtle bouquet that is delicate but full with strength and freshness on the
palate - utterly delicious.
Bottle 75cl Gosset Grande Reserve £76.00

DOM PÉRIGNON
Monk Dom Pérignon made it his mission to create the “best wine in the world”. This mission was
expressing an outstanding visionary spirit and to be exceptionally daring at the end of the 17th
century, and gave birth to the “méthode champenoise”. The wines have been enjoyed at grand
celebrations including the wedding of HRH The Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer.
Dom Pérignon is Vintage Champagne only. Each Vintage wine is created from the finest grapes
grown in one single year. Reinventing itself by interpreting the unique character of the seasons.
Daring not to release a Vintage if the harvest does not meet its ideal. After at least eight years of
elaboration in the cellars, the wine then embodies the perfect balance of Dom Pérignon, its
greatest promise. This is Dom Pérignon Vintage, the Plénitude of harmony.
The immediate impression is of the mildness of the pure, airy, bright bouquet. A floral, fruity pastel
tone then unfolds and quickly darkens into candied fruit, ripe hay and toasted notes, along with
hints of licorice.

KRUG
The House of Krug was founded in 1843 by Joseph Krug, a maverick man who understood that
the essence of champagne is pleasure itself. Transcending the notion of vintage, he succeeded
in offering a champagne of undisputed quality every year, regardless of climate variations. By
respecting the individuality of every plot and by establishing an extensive ‘library’ of reserve
wines, Joseph Krug founded the first and only champagne house to create exclusive
prestige champagnes.
Krug is the only champagne house to offer five prestige cuvées of equal, undisputed quality and
distinction. Krug Grande Cuvée is a blend of around 120 wines from 10 or more vintages, giving
it a fullness of flavours. More than 20 years are needed to craft each bottle of Krug Grande Cuvée.
