past couple of years and companies are starting to realize the possibilities and impact

that Content Marketing has.I’ve made a list of 5 amazing examples of

Content Marketing that have inspired me and hopefully will inspire you too to step up your

game and get creating.

sanitary napkins had to deal with cheeky Robert and his Facebook post, read the post

first and then take a look at the video that the CEO (created just for Richard) made

especially for him…

AirBnB – Using content to extend your services to your

audienceAs many great companies with a great concept, AirBnB is always looking to extend their service to the AirBnB’er. One of those

extensions is the AirBnB – Guidebooks. Besides just renting a room in a city, AirBnB now provides a platform where you can read all about the things to do in that particular city, based on the opinions from the people

that rent out their homes.

For Dummies – create content with them for your own

businessThe company has extended their service and they explain it perfectly on their website, they explain how businesses can now use the for Dummies books to “attract new customers,

grow their businesses and connect with their employees.”

Basically the idea is that you as company might have some internal programs or external programs, that you wish you can simplify and

explain in a different manner to your employees or customers.

 The Marriott Hotel – Media

Content StudioThis is one of the best examples of Content Marketing to date, in my opinion. If I were to tell you that a hotel chain owns a state of the art, with everything on it, content studio to create daily content, would you believe it? I

would not blame you for being sceptical because it sounds odd, but it’s true.

The content studio created a TV show, a short film and a personalized online travel

magazine. The projects were a huge success resulting in high engagement metrics to millions in direct revenue and content

licensing deals.

Netflix – House of Cards: Frank Underwood 2016, taking it one

step furtherNetflix has run a presidential campaign for

Frank Underwood, FU2016.And Netflix went all out with the website.

From campaign slogans, to #FU2016, video updates to where he is on his tour, to even downloading a media kit and creating your

own endorsement picture! It is amazing how elaborate all of this content is, all just to

engage the audience, to thrill the fans and to make us love the show even more.

These examples are all of course very elaborate and a lot of time and money has gone into creating it, but they are inspirational. And inspiration can lead to many things that don’t require a big budget just your time and devotion. Content doesn’t need to be over the top to be mind blowing it can also be something small, that’s usually where everyone begins and they just grow from there.I hope however that these examples of greatness have been able to ignite a spark that it’ll get you creating content right now.
