1. The evidence suggests that the people reading this magazine are mainly young people and majority being girls as they have adverts for handbags(clothing) perfumes(bathroom essentials) but also they have gaming adverts (games for PS3) which arguably people would say the majority of game players are male so maybe this magazine is also aimed at boys as well as girls even if the majority of readers are girls.

2. They have priced their magazine at a lower price than allot of rival magazines as they realise that they are trying to attract mainly 16 year old girls and under however the magazine is not cheap so it may have been priced at the in-between stage in hopes that parents will pay for the kids who cannot afford it and its the right price for the kids who can afford it.

3. It provides mainly escapism as people may go of into their own world when reading this and as it is aimed at student schoolgirls they may be escaping the pressures of exams.

4. The type of people reading it are young girls and the advertising backs it up as all adverts except 2 are things aimed only at girls and majority are especially younger girls. The psychographics would be people intrested in pop. In terms of social class I would say the main group is D as they are people who are more intrested in people of higher status (celebrities)

Calum’s findings are similar to mine as the majority of his magazine ads are full page ads which is the same as my work. Also his findings are slightly different as the percentage of half page ads and small ads were 25% where as his findings show that small ads take up a higher percentage. He didn't have any quarter page adverts on his pie chart where as i did.

Calum done his second graph about pages which had ads and pages that didn't and calculated the results as appose to me who done the type of advertisements e.g. Clothing
