Imbema Cleton B.V. is a well-respected supplier of industrial and maritime products. Our product range is subdivided in six product categories: hoses and couplings, lubricants and lubrication systems, personal protection equipment, high pressure cleaning, compressed air tools and portable heating. We are more than just a distributor of these products, the main part of our daily operations concern engineering and assembling of these products, as well as research and development in close cooperation with our partners.

Rubber hoses As distributor of the Italian manufacturer IVG Colbachini we are able to supply rubber hoses in a premium quality. This broad product range reaches from utility hoses to (petro) chemical hoses in diameters up to 26” and continuous lengths up to 120 meter. Therewith we are able to offer several hose type approved by INERSIS for applications in ATEX environments. Our workshop offers assembling and testing facilities which allows us to mount all required hose assemblies. On the following pages you may find an overview of some of our rubber hose types.

Composite hoses As distributor of the British manufacturer Dantec we are able to supply composite hoses in a premium quality. This hose type is often selected for its ease of use. Our broad product range offers both product and vapour hoses up to 10”. Therewith all hoses are type approved by DNV. Our workshop offers assembling and testing facilities which allows us to mount all required hose assemblies. On the following pages you may find an overview of some of our composite hose types. Please note that beside the mentioned product types, we have opportunities to supply hoses for Biofuel, MTBE and unleaded fuel applications as well. .

Metal hoses With our fully equipped welding workshop we are able to supply stainless steel hoses of a premium quality. Our workshop offers assembling and testing facilities which allows us to mount all required hose assemblies. Our welders are certified by Lloyd’s and retested every year. Our specific welding method is certified by Lloyd’s as well. On the following pages you may find an overview of our metal hose types.

Stainless steel hose type Inoflex NP-1Application: Applicable for general industrial applications, as well as more aggressive

products like chemicals and steam. Suitable for use at high temperatures or situations which require flexibilitycombinedwithhighworkingpressures.

Construction: Annular corrugated stainless steel inner tube with a narrow pitch, externallyprovidedwithasinglestainlesssteel wire braid. The inner tube could be executed in AISI 316 or AISI 321. The wire braid could be executed in AISI 304 or AISI 316.

Standard: ISO 10380 Temperature range: -200°Cupto+550°C.Maximumallowable pressures will decrease at higher temperatures.

Hose connectorsIn our fully equipped welding and assembly workshop we can assemble each hose with the required hose connector, either with a swaged connection, welded connection or safety and hose clamps. Loose spare connections could be delivered as well. Imbema Cleton B.V. has the ability to (exclusively) supply multiple A-brands that are known worldwide, like OPW, Elaflex, Dixon, Roman Seliger, Klaw, Todo and MannTek. All couplings are always supplied according to the latest standard. On the following pages you may find an overview of the most common connection types.

Hose connector type KLAW BreakawayApplication: KLAWBreakawaycouplingsprovidesanidentifiedandsafeparting

point withinthehosetransfersystem.Whentensileforcesexceedpredetermined tolerances, the Breakaway coupling activates to prevent from any spillage of the product conveyed. Herewith assets, personnel and the environment are protected during operations.

Construction: KLAWBreakawaycouplingshaveanuniqueflip-flapvalvedesignwith a high reliability. The valves lock each other in open position. When thecouplingbeginstoseparate,theflapsrotateandsnapintothe closed position. Then the coupling parts and hose system separates. All in a split second with minimum spillage.

Advantages: Theuniqueflip-flapvalvedesignoffersmultipleadvantagesoftheclassic poppet-valvedesignusedbyother manufacturers. E.g.: Relatively short design and light weighted. High flowratesandlowpressuredrops. No risk at partial break as activation starts on <2 mm separation.

Hose connector type Dry Disconnect Nato Stanag 3756 Application: A safe and easy to handle Dry Disconnect system that prevents spillage of the product conveyed. The

system could be disconnected when theyareunderpressure(max.7bar).Especially suitable for the use at bunker stations in the maritime industry for diameter from 1” up to 6”.

Construction: Thecouplingsystemexistsoutofahoseunitandtankunitwhichcould beeasily(dis)connectedwithagentlepushorpullandarotation of approximately100°C.

Hose connector type Autolok™ Application: A safe and easy to handle quick disconnect system, similar to the Camlock construction, but with the

additional feature. It utilizes a locking arm design that ensures the arms are locked automatically when closed. The use of clips, pins or buttons is unnecessary.

Construction: The safety locking arms are only implemented on the coupler parts. As counter piece the Camlock adapters could be used. The parts are easily (dis)connectedbytuggingthefingerringsandmovingthearms.

Advantages: Additional safety feature to the Camlock design.

Hose connector type Boss Application: Coupling design especially designed as a safe connection in high pressure steam lines. Could as well be

usedforair,water,fluidpetroleum, chemicals and liquid petroleum gas up to 1”.Construction: The spud part of the coupling serves as one half of the connection and isusuallyfixedtotheequipment.

The stem part that is clamped to the hose is the other half. The two halves are connected or disconnected by rotating the wing nut onto the spud. When connected they achieve a mechanical as well as a pressure seal.

Hose connector type Storz Application: Quickandeasytousecouplingsystemsuitablefornon-aggressivefluids.Because of the internally

protected coupling lugs, the Storz coupling isprotectedagainstimpactandisextremelydurable.Construction: A symmetrical design in which the coupling size is decided up on by the lug distance. The coupling

partscanbeeasily(dis)connectedthrough a 120 degree rotation. The connectors are available in aluminium, brass and stainless steel.

Pipe connector type Viking Johnson Marine Application: Pipe connector especially designed for more demanding

maritime applications. Suitable for pipes made of ductile iron, steel, PVC and GRP.

Construction: Easytofitduetoacaptive,non-rotatingboltheadthatrequires single spanner/ torque wrench to make installation simple with one bolt size (M12)across range andonebolttorque(55-65Nm)forallpipematerials. A removable locating plug prevents coupling creep caused by continuous vibrations found onboard along with movement from temperature variations. The resilient gasket helps absorb both noise and vibration.

Standards: Seals of approval by e.g. Lloyds register, American Bureau of Shipping (ABS),DNVandBureauVeritas.

Advantages: The Marine design allows angular movement, which caters for minor misalignment andpipedeflectionwithcouplingsupto6ºandflange adaptors to 3º.
