GAMES PREVIEWMontana State Billings: The Yellowjackets have started the new year with on a three-game losing streak, dropping their last two contests to perennial conference powerhouses Western Washington (51-100) and Seattle Pacific (60-70). During the three-game losing streak the ‘Jackets have scored 61.3 points-per-game and have allowed 81.3 ppg. MSUB’s attack is led by Kayleen Goggins who averages 19.6 ppg and 7.4 rpg and her running mate Alisha Breen scores 16.1 ppg while snatching 7.4 rpg.

Seattle Pacific: The Falcons began their week being ranked No. 14 in the nation. SPU opened the new year on a tough schedule traveling to Western Washington and then Simon Fraser and walking away with wins. The Falcons are riding a three-game winning streak and have won 12 of their last 13 games, with the only loss coming against the GNAC leader Alaska-Anchorage.

SERIES HISTORYCentral Washington trails Montana State Billings 8-19 in career match ups. The last Wildcat win versus the Yellowjackets took place in the 2011-12 season in Billings, Mont. The Wildcats have dropped six of the last seven meetings between the two teams.

The Saturday match up between the Falcons and Wildcats will mark the 51st meeting between the two teams. CWU trails the series 16-34. The last win for the Wildcats against the Falcons happened during the 2011-12 season.

WHAT LIES AHEADThe Wildcats will remain on the road with just one game next week when they travel to Nampa, Idaho to play Northwest Nazarene.

DIAPER DANDYTrue freshman Jasmin Edwards has started the season off with a bang. She is second on the team with a 13.5 scoring average and leads the team with 4.1 assist per game while snatching 4.3 rebounds per game.. In her home debut Edwards dazzled the home crowd and filled the stat sheet as she scored 15 points and added nine rebounds and seven assists. The point guard has scored in double-figures seven times in the past eight games.

SHINE MAKING IT RAINSenior Hannah shine is having an outstanding season from the land of three. She leads the team in both three pointers made (17) and three point

percentage at 48.6. Just a few weeks ago she ranked second in the nation when she was shooting 60.0 percent from behind the arc.

HOT START FOR JOHNSONCourtney Johnson continues to lead the Wildcats in both scoring and rebounding. The senior forward is scoring 14.9 points per game and grabbing 6.3 rebounds. Johnson can also create for her teammates as she is second in assists averaging 2.3 per game. She also leads the team in free throw percentage shooting at a 83.3 percent clip, and is second on the team with free throws made at 45.
