there was more than $30,000 in gold recovered by crude mill process.

the very grass roots said ores have been milled at the U.V.X. at
Clemenceau and at the Unit od Verde, now called the Phelps Dodge
smelter at Clarkdale, the last lot being run by the Phelps Dodge in
1938 at which time the last lessor, J. L. Sessions · of Cherry Creek,
Yavapai County, took out more than $1,300 of are by means of pick
and shovel and some powder. There has never been any machinery on
those two properties and they are for sale or lease and bond.
