The Craigburn Primary School Spring Fair is held on the school grounds every 2 years, and is a fantastic day for the school and community to enjoy. We have some-thing for everyone with market stalls, music, displays, raffles, games, rides, food and beverages. It is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together in a family friendly environment while also supporting their local school. Our goal is first and foremost to provide a fun day where the school and wider com-munity can come together to celebrate what is great about Craigburn Primary School and the suburb in which it resides. The Spring Fair is also our major school fund-raiser. All funds raised go towards improving the educational opportunities and ex-periences for our students. More specifically, the funds will assist in the construction of the Same Day Start Verandah and Benches. Every dollar raised will have a very real and lasting benefit. It is difficult to estimate attendance throughout the event, but we have a wide variety of stalls and events planned and we estimate that well over 2,000 people will attend.

Craigburn Primary School opened in 1982 and provides a contemporary education for children in Reception to Year 7. We are fortunate to be supported by passionate, committed and highly engaged families and we encourage activities which foster a sense of belonging in our local community and support for our local businesses. The school has a wide catchment area with families generally residing in the suburbs of Flagstaff Hill, Aberfoyle Park and Coromandel Valley. The school has two playgrounds, two netball/basketball courts, an indoor multipur-pose hall/gymnasium and a large oval providing play and sporting areas for students during school time and for after-hours school sports, which is well utilised by stu-dents. The school also has a strong focus on the performing arts, with children in-volved in choir, instrumental music and band.Craigburn Primary School is a learn-ing community sustained by quality relationships within a culture of respect, opti-mism and resilience. We are highly regarded for our passion for learning and our fo-cus on continual improvement. Teachers work collaboratively to plan and implement a rich learning program with an emphasis on the development of literacy and numeracy skills, personal wellbeing and encouragement for all students to achieve their very best learning. There is a whole school approach to using Inquiry Learning Units and developing the skills of 21st century learners utilising digital technologies. We are certainly proud of the “Professional Learning Community” ethos.

Making the Spring Fair successful takes a lot of hard work and commitment, and a lot of financial support from sponsors in the community. We greatly appreciate donations of all sizes, they do all make a difference. Sponsorship allows for involvement on numerous levels and provides a fantas-tic opportunity to build your company profile within our wonderful friendly community. You will receive maximum exposure of your business within our school community of nearly 500 students. With that in mind, we have different levels of sponsorship available, enabling us to target benefits most suited to the sponsorship value. We want your contributions (of all sizes) to be recognised and rewarded throughout the community because we value all donations whether they be gift vouchers, food donations or prizes for our raffle. The information below outlines the differences in the sponsorship levels, but please feel free to contact us for a specific conversation relating to how you might be able to help us, and for more detail on what is included for you.
