Editing Room: E21- Editing Regional Magazine. Contingency Situation 1: Software failure Response 1: turn off electrical equipment. Then try pulling the switch back up to see if the Software needed to be refreshed. Response 2: check the internet to see if there is a tutorial that could help us resolve the problem. Response 3: check with the I.T technicians to see if they can resolve the problem. Contingency Situation 2: Issues with uploading photos. Response 1: use different SD card reader to see if that is the problem. Response 2: try and use a different computer to upload the photographs Response 3: ask IT technicians to help to see if they can resolve the problem. Response 4: Re-take the photographs causing a delay in production. Contingency Situation 3: Pictures accidently lost/deleted on the computer you are using. Response 1: ensure there is a back up copy of the pictures located somewhere else e.g. a disk, USB, home computer etc before editing begins. Response 2: check with the I.T technicians to see if you have simply misplaced it on the school system. Response 3: look back on the camera you were using (memory card) to see if your film footage is still there. Contingency Situation 4: Hardware failure Response 1: restart computer Response 2: contact I.T technicians to see if they can resolve the problem. Response 3: work on a different computer
