Recognizing private sector expertise and access to capital, GoT is looking into a PPP transaction in order to revamp the International Dateline Hotel. IFC is seeking out qualified consulting engineering firm (the Consultant) to undertake a structural survey on the International Dateline Hotel. The objective is the production by the Consultant of a comprehensive engineering report on the plant, buildings, structural components, equipment and services infrastructure comprising the International Dateline Hotel, in accordance with generally accepted relevant industry best practice. ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION

The Government of Tonga (GoT) developed the International Dateline Hotel on the country's main island (Tongatapu) withturnover and occupancy rates lower than anticipated, and a consequential loss of money since its establishment.
