How would you test a sink?

If you look at the image on the following page you will see a sink with two taps, one hot and one cold. A spout for the water to come out. A basin to collect the water when using a plug. A drain for removal of water from the basin and an overflow as a safety precaution.

The question we want you to answer is, how would you test this sink? What would you do and most importantly, why?

Have a think about it, write up your answers and send them back to your recruiter via email.
