Job Description: Position: Pediatric – Consultant Overview: Our Clients are currently looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Consultant / Specialist in Paediatrics to work in their state-of-the-art hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The Consultant Paediatrician is responsible for providing services to the paediatric patients in compliance with hospital policy and contractual obligations. The Paediatrics Department delivers care for healthy and sick children whereby services include history taking, general examination, local examination, investigations, assessment of growth and development, nutritional assessment, vaccination, accident prevention and referral to other specialties. In 2012, our clients handled 165,000 outpatients, had 109 beds and a revenue of $ 32 million. The new hospital block is expected to significantly boost the capacity of the hospital by treating 18,000 outpatients per month, admitting 12,000 patients annually and delivering 4,000 babies per annum compared to the current 7,700 inpatients and 3,000 deliveries. Furthermore, the hospital also has international tie ups with the Universities of Iowa and Minnesota, Harvard School of Public Health, the MD Anderson Cancer Center and UAE University Medical School for training nurses, healthcare leadership training and cooperation in the field of oncology.
