Construction Progress Communication Collin College IT Center - Frisco (Preston Ridge) Campus Collin College is adding a new 92,000 SF, three-story Information Technology Center to the Preston Ridge Campus. It will be located on the northern side of the campus and is scheduled to open August 2021. It will serve students pursuing Collin College’s new bachelor’s degree program in applied technology in cybersecurity. Project Details Project Name: Collin College IT Center Owners Rep.: AECOM (www.aecom.com) Contractor: JE Dunn Construction (www.jedunn.com) Architect: Beck Group (www.beckgroup.com) Winter/Spring 2020 Schedule • Site work commenced the week of 2/3/20 • Standard work hours start at 7 a.m. Monday - Friday, with some weekend work. • For periodic updates, please visit www.collin.edu/campuses/prestonridge/index.html What to Expect • *UPDATE* Access to the academic buildings from the parking garage is currently limited by fencing due to construction activities. Although 4 handicap spaces are still available in the parking garage, there are several handicap parking spaces throughout the campus that have unimpeded pathways. All handicap spaces are highlighted on the attached map. • Additional communication will be shared as work progresses, via Construction Progress Communication flyers.
