This print screen shows I have added my dominant im-age with the background into InDesign.

This print screen shows I have added the masthead. The masthead has a white outline to make it bolder. I have also included the issue number, the date and the website which are typical conventions of a magazine. I decided to include a skyline to make the magazine look more professional.

This print screen shows me adding the cover line and sell lines to the cover. The font colour I decided to use was white because it has a greater effect with the background. The black outline was used to fit in with the colour scheme. The Cover line has been made bold to stand out. I also had to make the font size bigger to make the cover line be prominent. The name of the artist ‘Imran Khan’ I used capital letters to make it stand out.

The final print screen shows I have added at the bottom a banner with a sell line to draw readers in. I also added the barcode and price that are conventions of a magazine.

This print screen shows I have added three images into InDesign of different artists with a drop shadow effect to make it stand out. The images on the left side of the page include page numbers to make the contents page look more real. I also edited the images to a red background to combine with the magazine colour scheme. I have also included a subscription offer and an editor’s note, which are conventions of a contents page. In the editors note I have also included an image and the name of the edi-tor. The title is in a large font therefore it makes the title bolder. The black outline makes it more eye catchy.

This print screen shows I have added the features in-cluded in my magazine with page numbers. I have also included three headings. I made them stand out more by adding thick black boxes behind the headings.

The final print screen shows I have added a Band List-ing feature. I have included loads of names of bands with white text and black outline on a red background. The page numbers are in yellow text to makes the page num-bers stand out as well.

This print screen shows me adding the image into InDe-sign. I have also included the main title. Below the main title there is an introduction to the article, which is only three lines.

The final print screen shows I have added two pull quotes. I decided to add two thick white lines at top and bottom of the quotes to make them stand out more.
