A Week in Review Construction Newsletter October 21, 2017 Patient Wing • Asphalt Base was completed this week in the north section of the parking lot • Sheetrock is substantially complete and everything should be ready for paint by the end of next week • Painting was on hold this week to allow other subcontractors to complete work in more areas • Headwall issues have been resolved and installation began this week for headwalls and cabinets • Concrete paving at the ED entrance was completed Monday and additional snow melt tubing has been added to the sidewalks around the
entrance and the sidewalks were poured on Friday • The exterior automatic doors and the automatic operators are installed for the interior doors.
• There was an outage Monday to swap ATS-6 out with a temporary transfer switch to allow for the relocation of ATS-6 and permanent connection at its new location and an outage Thursday for ATS-2 • Empire electric arrived earlier Thursday to switch power to the new Transformer
MOB • Sheetrock hanging on one side of walls on the first floors is almost complete • Liquid flashing is almost complete the thermal air and water barrier system • Windows on the first floor are almost complete, and everywhere should be complete next week • Felt paper and the metal lath is being installed on north, west, and south walls in preparation for the stucco scratch coat next week
• Scaffold is going up on the east side to prepare for the start of stucco on the east well • Nunn installed a sleeve for Atmos’s gas line to allow site work to continue while
• The layout for curb and gutter and asphalt paving was done Thursday

What’s Next? Construction Newsletter October 21, 2017 Patient Wing • Four Corners – Asphalt is planned to be here in the next few weeks to pave the north section of the parking lot • Ceramic tile is planned to be delivered the week of the 23rd and installation will begin in the patient room toilets and showers • The painter will return next week to complete paint in the ED corridor and areas in the Patient Wing proper that are ready for paint • Stucco finish coat at the ED corridor will begin next week to allow the sidewalk to cure over the weekend before scaffold is set up • Emergency power work will begin now that normal power work is complete • The combination of additional snow melt tubing in the sidewalks and a few other hiccups has pushed the opening of the emergency
entrance to October 30th • ASSA Abloy will return Monday to install the sliding door on the public vestibule • Ceiling grid and tile and MEP trimout will start next Tuesday or Wednesday after paint is complete in the ED corridor
MOB • Sheetrock hanging will continue next week with rock on both sides and finishers following after • The elevator subcontractor is planned to be here next week to inspect the elevator hoist beams and begin installation if everything has been
resolved • Window installation is planned to finish up by the end of next week • Atmos has said they will be here in a couple weeks to get their gas line in • Nunn is pushing to get the asphalt paving at the MOB complete this year before the plants shut down
