Project and Position: Client Side Project(s) Director for Several types

and sizes of international and local projects in the Pre contract stage

(Design and Tendering) and Post contract stage (Construction

Management). Projects include buildings, dredging and marine works,

industrial, fit-out works, etc. with construction costs up to $500 Millions.

Responsibilities:

A- Initiating and establishing the projects’ briefs, requests for proposal

(RFP), defining the consultants’ scope of services, prequalifying and

inviting the shortlisted international and local consultants.

B- Evaluating and approving the consultancy offers / tender submissions

of the design and construction management services (pre contract and

post contract) and establishing relevant agreements with the

appointed consultants based on FIDIC white book and in

coordination with the company’s departments & international parties

related to the legal and insurance aspects forming the agreements.

C- Managing the design progress and technical workshops with the key

stakeholders and authorities to ensure all deliverables comply with the

scope of services, business intents, budgets, expected qualities,

timeline schedules, defined projects CAPEX, and initiating VE items

as well as approving the tender documents.

D- Managing the construction tendering processes including the

invitation to tender for the short listed contractors, responding to

contractors’ queries, evaluating and approving the tender submissions

technically and commercially, establishing agreements with the

appointed contractors based on the suitable FIDIC according to the

type of projects and issuing the letters of awards to main contractors

E- Managing the construction processes on site starting from

contractors’ mobilization up to the construction preliminary and final

Responsibilities:

A- Client Relation including Development & Management of the

Consultancy agreement and its subsidiaries including Project’s

B- Follow up and liaison for the different Design Deliverables and No

Objection Certificates with the Local Municipal Authorities to ensure

U.A.E. (DAMAC Head Offices). Outstanding designed office tower with 28 floors comprising of luxurious

freehold office spaces with the full amenities, health club, swimming pool,

jogging track, restaurants and car parks distributed over 3 Basement and 5

Podium Levels. DAMAC Properties head offices, several European

Consulates and Regional offices of multi-national companies have

occupied many premises. The Project was successfully completed on time

without delays and with a cost saving to the client while upgrading the

contract technical specifications of many of the installed works such as

finishing works, façade building envelope, etc.

Contract Construction Cost : Dhs. 200,000,000 ($55,000,000)

Responsibilities: A- Client relation including the development &

administration of the contract consultancy agreement at the design &

construction stages.

B- Project management at the pre contract stage including the

preparation & management of tender documents, design review, value

engineering, tendering & awarding processes to main & nominated

contractors.

C- Construction management including approval of Contractors’ work

program, approval of quality and HSE plans, Monitoring the progress
