EDITING PART 1When creating our title cards we decided to add a simple picture as a background. We
tried many editing techniques to create a hyper
real design, we finally decided on the design shown
in the bottom left hand corner. It is similar to a
cartoon effect. We found out how to do this by finding a
video on YouTube. The effect was then created on
Photoshop. We then cut it out on Photoshop and used
it on a yellow background for our title cards.
EDITING PART 2
To make sure that we ended up with a
professional finish, we then started to change the
gradient and grey scales of our footage to create the
right ambiance for our trailer, we did this using premier pro’s Fast Color
Corrector and changing the input and output levels of
the black and white.
EDITING PART 3We started to use key frames to move and overlap our shots, this created a
split-screen effect and created a sliding shot. We added a black line in the
middle of the split to add a definitive line of difference. We used this effect
as it was similar to the ones used in the whistling scene from Kill Bill.
EDITING PART 4
We then started to add in other sound effects to create more depth to our trailer which we matched with the shots also. As
we used Adobe Premier Pro, we were able to use more than one sound and
overlap them.
Later we moved onto the sound, we matched up the voice over with the
relevant images to create one flowing piece. To make sure we got the right pace of voice, we recorded
the voiceover more than once.
