ARTICLE I : LEGISLATIVE BRANCH
Makes the LawsBicameral: upper house (Senate) & lower house (House of Representatives)
Congress can coin money, collect taxes & regulate tradeCongress has the power of declare war

Must be 25 years old
A citizen for 7 years
Led by Speaker of the House

HOW A BILL BECOMES A LAW

The Supreme Court interprets (judges) the laws
Made up of 9 Justices led by the Chief Justice
Hears disputes between states and appeals involving the
Constitution.
Has the power to declare a law unconstitutional this is called
Judicial Review.

ARTICLES 4-7Article IV: Congress can admit new states
Article V: Amendments allow the Constitution to change of the nation changes. Amendments must be proposed & ratifiedArticle VI: The Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land
Article VII: 9 of 13 states must approve the Constitution to be the law of the land. All 13 eventually ratified.
