Constantinus the Liberator

Sergeant Constantinus of the Sons of Guilleman chapter fell to the

whispers of Chaos on the world of Nova Terra. Entrusted to

safeguard the planet against resurgent Tyranid organisms in the

wake of a repelled invasion, Constantinus led his squad on endless

patrols to cleanse the world of the xeno taint. Ultimately it led the

Sergeant and his squad into the heart of the city of Cirtus where he

had found a growing Genestealer cult had pervaded the city’s ruling

aristocracy.

As righteous as ever, Constantinus hunted down the infected nobles

and their families and swiftly ended the threat. Far from being

grateful, the people of Cirtus were enraged by the summary

executions of their leaders and rose up in revolt. Disgusted by this

behavior, his will and patience finally exhausted, Constantinus fuelled

the fires of rebellion. He appeared before the power-hungry crowd

and declared himself the new ruler of Cirtus and bitterly decried the

Emperor and his minions, claiming that it was the Sons of Guilleman

that had turned him into such a monster, and he swore to lead the

people of Cirtus to freedom.

The renegade renamed the world Constantinium and under his rule

the mob was given free reign. Called by the dark gods, dozens of

Chaos Space Marine warbands travelled to Cirtus to join the

renegades. Constantinus fought the best champions of Chaos to

arrive and defeated them, claiming their warbands for himself. He

then embarked on a terrifying pogrom of other planets in neighboring

systems, and within a decade his rampage engulfed the whole

sector.

Tactical Mastery: Constantinus is famous and terrifyingly

efficient at applying his tactical acumen as befits a son of

Guilleman. He may prefer massed Terminator teleport

assaults, or for his troops to fall screaming from the skies on

wings or jump packs, or roar around an enemy's flanks on

Bikes. He may elect to have one of the following unit types

to be chosen as a troops choice: Chosen Chaos Space

Marines, Chaos Terminators, Possessed Chaos Marines,

Chaos Bikers, Raptors, Chaos Havocs, or Obliterators
