is beyond thrilled to be the

Eagle’s Best Consignment/

Resale Shop for 2020. We’ve

been excited about the

possibility of opening up in

town for some time and to see

it come to fruition has been a

truly rewarding experience,

especially with the warm

reception from the folks in

the Brazos Valley. It’s our fi rst

year in town and having only

opened in late January and

then forced to close in March,

we are extremely honored

and grateful for this shout-out

from the local community.

Our staff curates the best in

trendy, designer and vintage

clothing and accessories

from local vendors and select

distributors nationwide and

off ers them on to shoppers at

amazing prices. After winning

numerous awards in Austin,

San Marcos and now BCS, it’s

clear we have a formula that

hits home. The store is locally

owned and operated and we

tailor our inventory to include

local, regional, national and

even international favorites.

The focus at Uptown has

always been on customer

service and product selection.

As such, the buyers pay

close attention to what the

community is looking for and

adapt to customer demand.

Popular lines include

lululemon, Nordstrom,

Madewell, Urban Outfi tters,

Nike, Anthropologie, Kendra

Scott and many more. From

boots and jeans to skirts

and blouses to prom dresses

and athletic wear, we have a

little of everything including

plus sizes. Our large sales

fl oor gives us the fl exibility

to accommodate a range of

styles popular with both Texas

A&M students and other

fashionable adults. Our staff is

trained to off er you the same

level of service you would

expect in any fi ne boutique.

While the resale experience

is best suited to in-person

shopping, Uptown College

Station will be expanding

online off erings this summer

and fall to include new

merchandise as well as

unique vintage and designer

off erings. We are also

continuing to off er additional

services to those needing

accommodations during

the COVID-19 pandemic

including curbside pickup for

both selling and shopping as

well as virtual shopping tours.

We supplement our

inventory with trendy basics

and popular brands we buy

in quantity at big discounts,

but the vast majority of our

off erings are purchased

directly from individuals in

the Brazos Valley. We try to

make selling to us as easy as

possible and have a detailed

explanation of the process

on our website. Rather than

off ering consignment, where

sellers are not paid until

items sell and markdowns

come out of their payout,

we pay cash on the spot or

a generous bonus for store

credit that never expires. In

addition, we off er tax-free

same-day exchanges. Sellers

with specifi c questions are

welcome to message us or call

and speak directly with one of

our buyers.

The beauty of sustainable

fashion is not only

fi nding unique items at

amazing prices, but our

environmentally friendly

business model keeps millions

of pounds of textiles out of the

landfi ll every year. For items

we don’t buy, we off er a tax-

deductible donation option

that supports two incredible

charities: The Military Order

of the Purple Heart, which

supports disabled veterans,

and buildOn, which builds

schools in third world

countries.
