Curriculum is a set of prescribed experiences that cause learning.
Curriculum has both a scope (focus) and sequence (range) for the learning experiences.
Knowledge, skill, and disposition are three critical components within a curriculum.

Curriculum is influenced by national (learned societies), state (GA QCCs and Performance Standards,) and local (city and county school systems) standards.
Curriculum is also influenced by political, social, and special interest groups.

Instructional design is a systematic plan for delivering prescribed experiences to cause learning.
There must be a targeted goal(s) and objective(s) for systematic instruction.
