TheEvlumaapplicationthatrunsathttps://connectled.evluma.com/#/loginformanagingConnectLEDuse.
EvlumaAdmin AnEvlumaCustomerSupportrepresentativeresponsibleforrecordcreationandmaintenancefortheCAPsite.TheEvlumaAdminhasadministrationrightsinsettingupotheraccesstothesystem.
Customer AnaccountthathasConnectLEDUsers,forexample,XYZUtility.Thiscanbeautility,amunicipalityortown,adistributor,orEvluma.
CustomerAdmin AnidentifiedindividualwithintheCustomeraccountwhoisauthorizedtobetheadministratorfortheCustomerConnectLEDUsers.ThiswouldtypicallybesomeoneintheITgroupfortheCustomerwhomanagesthedevicesandapplicationsthatareusedinthefield,suchaslaptopsandtablets.TheCustomerAdminusestheCAPsitetomanagetheCustomerUsers.
ConnectLEDApp Thedownloadableapplication(fromtheAppleStore)thatisinstalledonCustomer-ownedtabletsorphonesforcontrollingEvlumalamps.
User AnidentifiedindividualwithintheCustomeraccountwhoisusingtheConnectLEDApponamobiledevice.
License AlicenseisrequiredperUsertoallowoperationoftheapplicationonamobiledevice.TypicallicensetypesarePROMO,BASIC,andENTERPRISE.CustomersareassignedlicensesbytheEvlumaAdmin,andtheCustomerAdminscanassignthemtospecificuserswithintheCustomeraccount.
Provision ToprovisionanAdminoraUserintheCAPsitemeanstosetuptheaccountandinvitethemtocompletethesetupprocess.
Activate Aspartoftheprovisioningprocess,Admins/Usersareinvitedthroughanactivationemailtotheirdesignatedemailaccount.TheycompletetheprocessbygoingtotheCAPsiteandprovidingtheiremail.Atthecompletionofthisentry,theyareactivatedintheCAPsite.

AConnectLEDaccountisrequiredtousetheConnectLEDApp.TheConnectLEDAdminPortal(CAP)istheprovisioningtooltosetuptheaccount.TheCustomerAdminisresponsibleforprovisioningUsersundertheircompanyandmanagingthelicensesavailablethroughCAPsite.

TheConnectLEDapplicationisavailableforiPhone,iPad,AndroidtabletsandWindowsPC.AppleandAndroidapplicationscanbedownloadedforfreefromAppleAppstoreandAndroidPlaystore.OpentheAppstore/Playstoreappandsearchfor“ConnectLED.”Download“EvlumaConnectLED”app.TheWindowsapplicationisavailablefordownloadonConnectLEDPortalDashboardorviathelinkbelow.Windowsdownloadlinks:

4. GeneralLicenseInformation
EachCustomerpurchasesandisassignedagivensetoflicensesofeachcategory.TheCustomerAdmincanassigntheselicensestoUsersasneeded.
• ENTERPRISE–FullaccessofthefunctionalityonConnectLEDAppforanunlimited
numberoflamps.• BASIC–OnlyConnect/DisconnectandEventHistoryfunctionalityisenabledforan
unlimitednumberoflamps.Theremainingfunctionalityisreadonly.• PROMO–Fullaccessofthefunctionality,likeEnterprise,butforalimitednumberof
lamps.
Forexample,youordered10Enterpriselicenses,and10Basiclicenses.AstheAdminofthecompany,youcanassigntheselicensestoUsersoncetheyareprovisionedinthesystem.10UserscanbeassignedwithEnterprisecapabilitiesand10UserscanbeassignedwithBasiccapabilitiesontheConnectLEDapplication.
5. CustomerAdminAccountSetup
TheEvlumaAdminwillsetupyouraccountafteranorderisplaced.TheEvlumaAdminwillcontactthecompanytoidentifythepersonresponsibleforbeingtheCustomerAdmin.AftertheEvlumaAdminsuccessfullyprovisionsyouraccount,youwillreceiveanactivationemail.Activatetheaccountbyfollowinginstructionsintheemail.Uponsuccessfulactivation,logintoConnectLEDAdminPortaltocreatenewUsers.
6. CreatingaConnectLEDUserAccount
TheCustomerAdmincancreateCustomerUsersonceanAdminaccountiscreated.LogintotheConnectLEDAdminPortalusingyourAdmincredentials.NavigatetoAdministration->Users.Alistofcurrentuserswillbeshownonthepage.

Aftersuccessfulprovisioning,theUserwillreceiveanactivationemail.TheUserneedstoactivatetheaccountbycreatingapasswordforit.Thisactivationlinkisvalidfor30days.Aftersuccessfulactivation,theUsercaninstalltheapplicationfromtheAppleStoreandthenlogintotheConnectLEDapplication.ThefirsttimeaUserlogsintotheapprequiresthattheyhaveanactiveInternetconnectionsothattheycanauthenticatewiththeCAPserver.Userswillneedtologintotheirappevery7daysastheirloginwillexpire.TheyDONOTneedanactiveinternetconnectionontheirdevicetore-login,astheircredentialsaresecurelycachedonthedevice.
WheneveraUserlogsintotheConnectLEDApp,theappattemptstoauthenticatewiththeserverifanInternetconnectionisavailable.TheUsercredentialsarealsosecurelycachedonthedevicefor30days.ThisallowsforaUsertobeinthefieldatalampinaremotelocationandwhichmaybeoutofmobilecoverage.TheappwillthencheckthelocalcachedcredentialstoauthenticatetheUser.However,ifthecachedcredentialshaveexpired,theUserwillneedtoreturntoacoverageareatofirstlogintotheapplicationandauthenticatewiththeserverbeforetheyproceedtothelamplocation.LegacyASUSAndroidtabletsdonotneedtorevalidatethecredentialsuntillicenseexpiration.
YourConnectLEDappsessionlengthscanbefoundonthedashboardinConnectLEDadminportal.Youcanchoosethevaluesthatbestsuityourcompany.ContactEvlumaAdmin(Phone#+1425-336-5800)toupdatethesevalues.

7. CreatinganAdditionalCustomerAdminAccount
TheCustomerAdmincanmakeanyUserunderthecompanyanadditionalCustomerAdmin.ThereisnolimittothenumberofConnectLEDAdminaccountsacompanycanhave.TomakeaUseraCustomerAdmin,gotoAdministration->UsersandchoosetheUseraccount.InUserdetailssection,GotoActions->Grantentitlementgroup.

8.3. Grant/RevokeEntitlementGroup
GrantorRevokeentitlementgrouptograntorrevokeadminresponsibilitiesofaUser.Theassignmentorrevocationisimmediate.
8.4. RequestResetPasswordResetUserpassword.Uponreset,anemailwillbesenttotheUsertocreateanewpassword.Theywillbedirectedbyalinkbacktotheportaltosetupanewpassword.
8.5. DeleteUserDeleteUseraccount.ThiswillcompletelyremovetheUserfromthesystemandreturnanyassignedlicensebacktothelicensepool.Also,seeSection8.2aboveforimmediateordelayedeffectivityoftheirabilitytoaccesstheapplicationonthedevice.
