CONNECTIONS Mt. Carmel Holiday Outings “The Pinnacle of Senior Living” Merry Christmas Welcome to December! It’s that time of the year when Mt. Carmel Community overflows with the sights, sounds, and joy of Christmas! As the decorations begin to go up around the facility we are reminded of the beauty of the holidays. We will enjoy the sounds of the season with each passing day as school groups, choirs, and individuals fill our dining room with Christmas carols. Look for the joy of Christmas to show up in many unexpected places! You’ll find it in our Helping Hands Craft Class as we finish up the ornaments for the Mt. Pine children. You’ll feel it in your heart as we talk about the birth of our Savior during our times of worship and Bible study. You’ll hear it in the laughter that fills the air as we gather for holiday games, socials and entertainment. And the joy of Christmas will be reflected on our faces all month long as we are blessed to share another Christmas and ring in another New Year together. Speaking of “new years”… be sure to circle the New Year’s Eve Party on your calendar! It will be celebrated at noon on December 31 st ! Our Activity Directors have gone the extra mile in making that possible for you! The December calendar is packed with entertainment, games, holiday movies, and socials! Space will not allow us to highlight every activity that has been planned for our Mt. Carmel family, but here are a few social opportunities that you won’t want to miss! We’ll enjoy a “Christmas Cookie Social” on December 11th, “Cocoa, Cookies, and Carols” on December 14th, and our annual “Mt. Carmel Christmas Party”, complete with Santa Claus and a few surprises, on December 21st! Come celebrate Christmas with us!
