The Virginia Annual Conference is the 2nd largest gathering of United Methodist’s in
the world. This year we gathered in Roanoke, Virginia to worship and celebrate all that we have done this past year and to look forward to what God will do in the year to come. This year truly did feel like a celebration, unburdened by the weight of more serious issues we have faced in the past. We especially celebrated the ministry of Bishop Cho, over the four years he has led us as a conference. His closing words to us as our Bishop, were to “seek God’s will” in your life. Trust and obey, there’s no better way, there’s no other way. Dear God, your will, nothing more, nothing less.” God’s will is without a doubt frightening, God will take us places we never imaged and if we let ourselves go into God’s will, we will find life, church and community becoming more than we ever could imagine. It is far easier to cling to what we know, but what we know is not transforming the world the way God’s will transforms. “Dear God, your will, nothing more, nothing less.” I hope you will join me as we earnestly pray this prayer together. Our church needs us to pray, “Dear God, your will, nothing more, nothing less.” Our community needs us to pray, “Dear God, your will, nothing more, nothing less.” For the sake of the kingdom of God, let us pray together, “Dear God, your will, nothing more, nothing less.” Pastor Christina

us together to be with Him with His abundant provision and saving protection, now and forever.
Registration is now available for our VBS which will be held July 25 to July 29 from 5:30-8:00. Come along with us as we sing fun songs, do crazy crafts, eat yummy meals, play awesome games, and more. Plus, you’ll learn all about Jesus our Savior and how He gathers us together! Can’t
wait to see you there! You can register online at: https://vbsmate.com/events/CreweUMCVBS/5084.
