Connected Stadium Summit: Henk, tell us a bit about your experience of the Connected Stadium space
HvR: Connection nowadays is a must and something we demand to have in order to facilitate our customers with the latest and newest solutions, creating more fan experience.
CSS: What do the next 6 months hold for you?
HVR: The coming 6 months all activities in the Amsterdam ArenA Innovation Center will be centered on creating the command and control room. Also our Mobility Portal will be upgraded to facilitate the customer journey on the highest level
CSS: How do you select your partners in this space, and what have you been able to achieve thanks to building an ecosystem around this?
HVR: We select only the top companies of the industry as well as the most innovative start-ups, who are able to work in an open innovation environment. We’ve achieved we are recognized as the most innovative playground in stadium environments worldwide.
CSS: What is the role of the carrier/operator in the ecosystem working on your stadium/club?
HVR: The operator is part of the innovation team and one of our strategic partners. This makes it possible for us to work together closely on the latest technologies and gives them to demonstrate their latest innovations in our living lab (5G)
