Before installation, place the smart LED strip light in the desired location to check there is a strong WiFi signal where WiFi controller is to be located (at least 2 bars on your phone). CONNECT TO YOUR HOME WIFI AND PAIR WITH YOUR SMART WIFI GARDEN LIGHT KIT Once your Smart garden lights have been safely installed, open your Brilliant Smart App. If you are connecting a smart device for the first time then press ‘add device’ or if you are adding another smart device press the plus sign ‘+’. Next select the type of device you wish to add. If you’re connecting a Smart WiFi Garden Lights select ‘Lighting’. Icons may differ depending on your phone or tablet or operating system. It’s important that you connect to 2.4GHz home WiFi not the 5GHz. If you don’t have at least 2 bars signal on your phone, then you may need to look at upgrading your router or getting a WiFi extender. Once your Smart garden lights have been safely installed, open your Brilliant Smart App. If you are connecting a smart device for the first time then press ‘add device’ or if you are adding another smart device press the plus sign ‘+’.

Once your smart garden lights are safely Installed, power on the device at wall switch.

Turn powerpoint on and the smart garden light controller will start to blink rapidly (2 times per second), and be ready to pair.

When the globe is blinking rapidly (2 times per second) press the confirm indicator rapidly blink button. Then type in your 2.4 gigahertz home WiFi password then press ‘confirm’.

Your device is now pairing with your home WiFi so wait until screen says 100%.

Once connection is successful then you can change the name of your globe to one you choose then select the room where the plug is to be located.

To continue press ‘done’.

You can also control your smart lights by voice – you will need to have purchased an Amazon Alexa or Google Home device, then downloaded and setup the Alexa app or Google Assistant app.

Select the ‘me’ icon and then ‘More services’.

Select Alexa or GoogleAssistant and follow the instructions.

OFF ON

Congratulations you’ve connected your Smart WiFi Garden Light Kit.

Now you can control your smart light from anywhere by the BrilliantSmart App or voice control.

Select your smart light and turn on or off using the power button.

Create schedules so your smart lights are fully automated – turning on and off at specific times and on any days.
