Stanley House is licensed to hold marriage ceremonies or renewals of vows – all in an unforgettable setting.

There is a charge of £750.00 (including VAT) for the Barn or Stables Function Suite.

You will need to contact our local Superintendent Registrar direct on 0300 123 6705 in order to book the registration staff who will conduct the ceremony and confirm all the legalities.

‘Freesale’ Basis available from £145.00 midweek or £185.00 weekend, per double room based on double occupancy including full English Breakfast, a bottle of champagne for the Bridal Suite and a personalised gift for the happy couple

This discounted rate is subject to the rooms being held on a ‘freesale’ basis – first come first serve. Your guests can book direct with the hotel and bride and groom will not be liable for unoccupied rooms.

‘Guaranteed’ Basis available from £133.00 midweek or £169.00 weekend, per double room based on double occupancy including full English Breakfast, a bottle of champagne for the Bridal Suite and a personalised gift for the happy couple

This discounted rate is subject to the rooms being held on a ‘guaranteed’ basis, any bedrooms not occupied will be charged to the event account

From This Day Forward


• Our experienced and passionate wedding planner will hold your hand and help to create your perfect day• Following your ‘show-round’, take a little time to discuss your thoughts with your families We will reserve your preferred date under no obligation for fourteen days from the viewing date • Once your wedding date is held, your wedding planner will send you two contracts, inclusive of terms and conditions, to formalise

the occasion and your wishes. To confirm simply sign and return both copies of the contract with the non-refundable deposit of £1,000. A copy of this contract will be returned to you for your personal files.

• Your wedding is now booked and the fun can really begin!• To assist with the financial plans and preparation of your special day an invoice stating half of the contracted event value will be

issued to you for settlement no later than six months prior to your event date.• As your wedding approaches we will help you with the selection of menus, drinks and those all important touches to make the day

run smoothly. Detailed updates following each meeting will ensure your dreams are turned into reality• With 3 months to go – your planner will invite you to a ‘Final Details Meeting’ to finalise all those last minute details and arrange any

ancillary items that may have been overlooked. A pro-forma invoice will then be issued for you to settle four weeks prior to your Wedding day• With 2 weeks to go – your planner will ask you to confirm your final numbers, then your final invoice is prepared for payment 1 week prior to your big Day • Almost there now....3 days to go – come and meet the banqueting team who will be your friendly face as you float down the red carpet! • It’s here – Your Day has arrived! We take over now, so allow us to do what we do best - pamper you and your guests. Remember you are the star of the show!
