On behalf of everyone at Macdonald Ansty Hall we would like to congratulate you both on your forthcoming wedding and thank you for considering us as the venue for your wedding celebrations.

Of all the events in life nothing can be more memorable or important than your wedding day, and here at Macdonald Ansty Hall we guarantee that your wedding will be the only one taking place on the day.

As a 17th century Georgian house full of charm and character, the hotel is set in eight acres of beautiful grounds with breathtaking views; providing the perfect backdrop for photography. If the weather is an inclement, the interior of the house boasts original features such as a beautiful staircase, high ceilings and open fireplaces.

We are here to help you design your own bespoke wedding to ensure you have the ultimate magical and memorable wedding.

THE LIBRARY

Perfect for intimate weddings of up to 30 guests, a charming room overlooking our landscaped gardens with a period fireplace and bookcases aplenty.

THE DRAWING ROOM

Located at the front of the hotel featuring views over the grounds and Warwickshire Countryside, this room holds up to a maximum of 50 guests.

THE ROSE ROOM

Overlooking our beautiful gardens and 350 year old Cedar tree, this room boasts plenty of natural daylight, charm and character and can hold up to 100 guests.

ST JAMES' CHURCH

Easily accessed through the gardens of the hotel, this beautiful Church of England can accommodate up to 120 of your guests. Contact 02476 366 635

An elegant extravaganza, beautifully simple ceremony or a bespoke wedding breakfast, we can accommodate all.

For your first meal as a married couple be inspired by our chef's passion for food. It is the little details that make all the difference, and that is why when it comes to quality they only use the finest seasonal ingredients and source only the best produce.

After the meal, party the night away in one of our evening function suites.

You've found each other, now it's time to celebrate. Every wedding is unique and we'll work with you to make sure everything is exactly as you want it. We offer a range of packages to suit every budget and style. Whatever your special day consists of, we can help tailor make your perfect package to suit you and your guests.

ACCOMMODATION

A complimentary stay in our Bridal suite is included in all packages for the night of your wedding with breakfast the following morning.

With 62 bedrooms there is plenty of room for both friends and family to stay in a selection of Classic and Feature rooms.

Discounted rates are available for yourguests and include breakfast the following morning.

When you choose to celebrate your wedding at Macdonald Ansty Hall, you can choose exclusivity. The entire hotel can be yours and yours alone to enjoy complete privacy.

Alongside our wedding packages we provide use of all our function rooms, lounge areas, landscaped gardens and all 62 bedrooms for your private use. You and your guests will have exclusive use from 12noon on the day of your wedding until 11am the following day, allowing you to relax in the surroundings of the 17th century Georgian house with your friends and loved ones.

The Orangery Suite at Macdonald Ansty Hall is a large, inviting space bathed in natural daylight and tastefully decorated. Fully self-contained with its own bar, the Orangery Suite is our largest and most luxurious venue. The suite opens out onto a private patio area and

FAQ’S

Frequently asked questions

What time can wedding guests check in?Check in is from 2.00pm.

What time is check out?Check out is up to 11.00am.

Who looks after us on the day?You will get a dedicated Master of ceremonies to look after you throughout the day, making sure all your guests are in the right place at the right time, along with introducing the speeches etc.

Can we bring our own wine or beverage?We do not allow you to bring in your own wine or drinks.

Do you allow candles to be lit?Yes we do as long as they are in holders.

What time does the bar and entertainment finish?The bar and music will end at 12.30am, however any guests who are residents can carry on drinking in the main hotel bar.

Can we book the civil ceremony through you?No you will need to contact Rugby Registrars, their contact number is 01788 551829.

How many people can sit at each table?We can accommodate 10 guests to a round table.

What shape and size is your cake stand?We have a round silver cake stand that is 15 inches in diameter and a square silver cake stand that is 21 inches in diameter.

How do I confirm my wedding with you?We will require either £1,000.00 deposit or 20% of the total value, whichever is the lower amount along with a signed contract. For exclusive use weddings we require a £3000 deposit. Please contact our Wedding Co-ordinator on 02746 612222 or email at [email protected].

Can you move flowers from the Ceremony room to the wedding breakfast room?Yes we will be happy to move flowers from one room to another just let us know where you would like them to go.

Can you move chairs and chair covers?We are unable to move chairs from one room to another so if you are using two different rooms you will need to order chair covers for both rooms.

Can I have a choice menu?You must choose a set menu for your guests for your wedding day, however if your numbers are below 50 and your wedding breakfast is taking place in the Rose Room we can offer a choice menu for a £5.00 per person supplement.

What is a wedding breakfast?The wedding breakfast is the first meal that you will share together as a married couple, it is traditionally called a breakfast no matter what time of the day it is.

Can we have confetti?We allow biodegradable confetti outside but not inside the hotel.

How many weddings do you have per day?We only host one wedding per day however there may be other events taking place in the hotel. The only way to ensure you are the only guests in the hotel is to hire the hotel exclusively. Please contact our Wedding Co-ordinator for pricing.

Will we have a food tasting prior to the wedding?Yes we offer complimentary food tasting for the Bride and Groom, any additional guests are from £30.00 per person dependant on your package and the maximum number we can accommodate is a table of 6.

Do you provide a dance floor?Yes we do have a wooden dance floor that we can include as part of your package. The maximum dimensions are 5 metres squared.

Do you have a microphone for speeches?We don't have a microphone at Macdonald Ansty Hall however we do have a contact should you want to hire one in.

Can we have fireworks or Chinese lanterns?You are welcome to have fireworks in the grounds; Please speak to your Wedding Co-ordinator for the supplier details. However, we are unable to allow Chinese lanterns due to the surrounding woodland.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Booking terms

We are able to provisionally hold a date for you for 14 days with no obligation, following this time a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of £1,000 for standard packages and £3,000 for exclusive use packages would be due to secure your date. Along with this deposit we would require a signed wedding contract detailing the itinerary along with the full terms and conditions for your wedding day.

90 days prior to the wedding 30% of the anticipated amount is due, 60 days prior to the wedding a further 30% of the anticipated amount is due, with the full pre-payment to be settled at least 14 days prior to your wedding date. Payment for any additional charges incurred on the wedding day must be paid upon departure.

Civil and religious ceremonies

If you are having a civil or religious ceremony we recommend that you contact the registrar/reverend prior to confirming the date with the hotel.
