Their StoryJessica and Jordan actually had the same teacher

for kindergarten, but Jessica moved away. They didn't meet again until the summer after they graduated high school when she had a party at her house.  Jessica’s cousin went to high school with Jordan and brought him along.  Even though Jessica was going to school in Pittsburgh and he was in Columbus, they kept in touch the first semester of college and started dating over Christmas break that year. They dated long distance for 3.5 years.  

After a 2 year engagement (thanks to pharmacy school), the wedding will be on August 4, 2012, in Youngstown where they are both from.

Engagement StoryOn July 25, 2010, Jordan decided to take

Jessica on a 4 mile hike in Cuyahoga National Park. It was about 95° and really, really humid.  The hiking trail was very muddy from a recent rain and Jessica slipped and fell so she was sweaty, muddy, and had a bloody knee...but she saw the box in his pocket so she didn't complain too much :).  When they got to the end of the trail, there was a waterfall called Bridal Veil Falls, and Jordan got down on one knee and proposed.
