Comparison of initial test results with existing standards to determine ventilation and/or personal protection requirement
Ventilate and/or provide personal protection
Provide for monitoring of confined space during work
Ensure that standby persons are available for rescue and operation of essential equipment
Ensure rescue equipment is readily available and in order
Authorise entry permit
Suspend work/evacuate space if conditions change to present real/potential danger
