Conference and Training Guide

Winter/Spring 2015

New for 2015Several continuing education training

sessions are accredited by the OACIQ

Updated on April 29, 2015

A NEW YEAR, MANY NEW CONFERENCES!

The GMREB is pleased to present the winter/spring 2015 edition of its Conference and Training Guide. This guide includes all of the training activities offered by the GMREB, its groups and its Centris® division. New training sessions and conferences, revealing everything you need to know about condominium transactions, home staging, photography, the effective use of our economists’ statistics and more, are complemented by learning activities that are returning at the request of new members.

Several training sessions provide CEUs!

The GMREB is pleased to feature several training sessions whose content has been accredited by the OACIQ, which means you are entitled to receive continuing education units (CEUs).*

We have also simplified the consultation of this guide by including a table of contents that is divided into 4 categories of activities: conferences presented by the GMREB Groups, training sessions presented by the GMREB, training on Centris® tools, as well as networking events and activities. By clicking on the activity that interests you, you will receive all of the event’s details and a Register button will lead directly to the registration page.

We hope that these new conferences and training sessions will meet your learning and networking needs, and will help you grow your business!

Feel free to email us at [email protected] if you have any comments or suggestions.

* The OACIQ’s new Continuing Education Program requires brokers to obtain, over a two-year period, 18 continuing education units, including a minimum of 6 core content CEUs.

Although the official period for accumulating CEUs extends from May 1, 2015, to April 30, 2017, all CEUs earned since November 3, 2014, will count towards your training program.

The volunteers in the GMREB’s six groups are ambassadors who are passionate about the real estate industry. They organize conferences and social activities for GMREB members in order to encourage collaboration between brokers. The Centre, East, Laval/North Shore, West and South Shore groups facilitate networking among brokers by organizing activities in the different areas of Greater Montréal. The commercial group is dedicated to professionals working in commercial real estate and members who have an interest in this industry.
